Logan Thomas (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool/Onondaga C.C.) scored three times in the third quarter to lead the second-ranked Le Moyne College men's lacrosse team to an 11-7 win over 19th-ranked Pace University on Wednesday afternoon in Northeast-10 Conference action at Ted Grant Field.
Pace opened the game's scoring just over four minutes into the contest as Peter Sharp tallied an unassisted goal.
Following 10 and one-half minutes of scoreless action, the Dolphins evened the score at one apiece with just 28 seconds left in the first quarter as freshman attackman
Jack Vajda (Clinton, N.J./Rutgers Prep) scored his fourth goal of the season off a pass from sophomore midfielder

The Setters tallied three of the four goals in the second quarter to take a 4-2 lead into halftime. Anthony Gadaleta gave the lead back to Pace at the 11:40 mark by finishing off a pass from Kevin Cox in an extra-man situation. Just 44 seconds later, sophomore midfielder
Bailey Wilkinson (Black River, N.Y./Carthage) tallied his fourth goal of the campaign after collecting a pass from junior midfielder
Brian Rogers (Clifton Park, N.Y./Shenendehowa). The Setters regained the lead with 7:40 left in the quarter on Liam Brennan's 18th goal of the year, while Sharp gave the Setters a two-goal advantage with 2:09 remaining off a pass from Vincent Vasheo.
Le Moyne scored five straight goals in the third quarter to take the lead. Thomas started the streak 42 seconds into the period off a pass from Rogers. He tied the score for the final time 78 seconds later after taking a pass from senior attackman
Andrew Jackson (Syracuse, N.Y./Henninger). Rogers gave the Dolphins their first lead with 11:14 left 22 seconds after redshirt senior goalkeeper

Mike Jenkins (Clifton Park, N.Y./Shenendehowa) pushed the lead to two with his 15th goal of the year with 5:30 to go after receiving a pass from Jackson in a 30-second timer-on situation. Thomas closed out the scoring in the period with his team-best 21st goal of the season with 13 seconds left off a feed from graduate student midfielder
Matt Taylor (Manlius, N.Y./Fayetteville-Manlius/Cornell).
Following almost six minutes of scoreless play to start the fourth quarter, defenseman Matt Golden snapped Pace's scoring drought of 23:01 with his first goal of the year. Wilkinson pushed Le Moyne's lead back to three by burying a shot from the right side with 7:40 left in the game.
Pace countered with a pair of goals in a span of 37 seconds to trim its deficit back to one. Just 19 seconds after Wilkinson scored, Bradley Paterson scored from the left edge of the crease after picking up a loose ball to the right of the goal off a Krawec turnover. Sharp got the Setters within 8-7 with 6:44 to play with his 11th goal of the season.
Le Moyne regained control with the final three goals of the game. Taylor pushed the lead back to two with his 15th goal of the year with 5:04 left after taking a feed from Rogers in a 30-second timer-on situation. Jenkins registered his second goal of the afternoon with 3:52 left following an across-the-crease pass from Wilkinson, while Rogers finished off the game's scoring with his 18th goal of the year with 1:04 remaining.
Krawec finished the game with 12 saves, his third double-digit save performance of the year, to earn his 10th win between the pipes. With his fourth save of the game, Krawec became the ninth goalkeeper in the program's history to record 300 career saves. Robert Beshlian turned away 18 shots in the loss for the Setters, including nine in the first quarter.
Le Moyne (10-0, 6-0 NE-10), which is the first team in the North Region and the second team in Division II to win 10 games, returns to action on Saturday at Saint Anselm College at 10:00 a.m.
