Jack Vajda (Clinton, N.J./Rutgers Prep) tallied seven goals in his first career start to lead the second-ranked Le Moyne College men's lacrosse team to an 18-3 win at Saint Anselm College on Saturday morning in Northeast-10 Conference action at Grappone Stadium.
Vajda's seven goals are the most by a Dolphin since Mike McDonald '08 posted that total on May 20, 2006 in a 22-3 win over Limestone in the NCAA semifinals. The seven goals are the most in the regular season since Ryan Lewis '06 did so on April 25, 2004 in a 17-2 win over Southern New Hampshire.
The Dolphins tallied the first five goals of the game over the opening 17:42. Vajda opened the scoring at the 11:11 mark after taking a pass from senior attackman

Nick Kline (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool) netted his seventh goal of the year in transition with 8:50 left in the first quarter. Junior midfielder
Brian Rogers (Clifton Park, N.Y./Shenendehowa) completed the scoring in the opening quarter with his 19th goal of the year at the 4:54 mark off a feed from Jenkins. Rogers pushed the lead to 4-0 38 seconds into the second quarter with an unassisted tally. Jenkins capped the game-opening streak with his 17t goal of the year with 12:18 left in the half.
Saint Anselm countered with a pair of goals in a span of 44 seconds to trim its deficit to 5-2. Mark Vitello got the Hawks on the scoreboard with an unassisted goal with 11:00 left, while Matt Johnson followed with an unassisted marker at the 10:16 mark.
Vajda gave the Dolphins a 6-2 lead at halftime by finishing off a pass from junior defensive midfielder

The Dolphins extended their lead to 12-2 with the first six goals of the third quarter. Senior attackman
Logan Thomas (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool/Onondaga C.C.) started the run with an unassisted goal 39 seconds into the quarter. Just over two minutes later, Rogers finished off a pass from Thomas for an 8-2 lead. Senior midfielder
Mike Fiorini (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) followed with his seventh goal of the year with 10:57 left after collecting a pass from sophomore midfielder
Justin Kesselring (Fairport, N.Y./Fairport). Vajda put the Dolphins into double-digits at the 7:55 mark off a pass from graduate student midfielder
Matt Taylor (Manlius, N.Y./Fayetteville-Manlius/Cornell). He then finished off passes from Kline and Thomas at 5:23 and 4:27, respectively, for a 10-goal advantage.
Ben Warren got the Hawks within 12-3 at the end of the third quarter with his 12th goal of the season off a pass from James Olsen.
Le Moyne added six unanswered goals in the fourth quarter to deliver the final margin. Rogers scored the first two goals for a career high-tying five goals in the game. The first came off a feed from Jenkins with 13:09 left, while the second was unassisted at the 11:51 mark. With the assist on the goal with 13:09 to go, Jenkins moved into a tie for 10th place with Corey Sullivan '04 on the program's career points list with his 144th point.
Vajda followed with goals at 8:34 and 6:48 to give the Dolphins a 16-3 advantage. Senior attackman

Greg White (Buffalo, N.Y./Nichols School) tallied his third goal of the year with 1:24 remaining after taking a pass from sophomore midfielder
Ryan Suddaby (Syracuse, N.Y./Westhill).
Krawec finished the game with a career high-tying 19 saves, including 14 in the second half, to earn his 11th victory of the season between the pipes. Lucas DeAngelo recorded six saves (against 16 goals) over 53:12 of action.
Le Moyne (11-0, 7-0 NE-10) returns home for its final mid-week game of the season on Tuesday against Assumption College at 3:00 p.m.
