Syracuse, N.Y. – Junior guard
Tanner Hyland (South Portland, Maine/South Portland/Bridgton Academy) nailed a three-pointer midway through overtime to give the Le Moyne College men's basketball team the lead for good en route to a 90-84 victory over Saint Michael's College on Wednesday evening in Northeast-10 Conference action at Ted Grant Court.
Le Moyne (14-3, 9-2 NE10) has won 10 straight games in the regular season for just the second time in the program's 69-year history and for the first time since a 15-game streak in the 1964-65 season. The Dolphins have won 10 straight games in a season (regular season and postseason) just three times, with the last being in 2008-09, when they won 11 consecutive games to advance to the NE10 Championship game.

Daniel Kaigler (Syracuse, N.Y./Bishop Ludden/Gannon) just before time expired.
Le Moyne scored the first six points of the second half to take its largest lead of the game, 42-33, with 18:43 remaining. Sangster made two free throws and then Buczek scored twice in the paint to force a timeout by Saint Michael's.

After Sangster split a pair of free throws with 1:03 left to give the Dolphins a 70-65 lead, Williams drained a three-pointer with 45 seconds remaining. Following an offensive foul by the Dolphins, Bonds converted a lay-up with 10 seconds left to even the score at 70-apiece.
Hyland was able to get off a jump shot as time expired, but the shot did not fall, sending the game to overtime.
The teams opened the overtime period by splitting the first 12 points over the initial 2:21. Hyland then had a three-pointer fall in to put the Dolphins up for good. The Dolphins went 9-for-10 from the foul line over the final 100 seconds, while Eisendorf added a jumper in the paint, to seal the victory. Richards went 4-for-4, Sangster was 3-for-4 and Eisendorf made both of his attempts.
