Syracuse, N.Y. – Senior attackman
Justin Kesselring (Fairport, N.Y./Fairport) scored five goals, including the 100th of his career, to lead the top-ranked Le Moyne College men's lacrosse team to a 16-10 win over Southern New Hampshire University in the regular season finale for both teams on Saturday at Ted Grant Field.
With the victory, the Dolphins completed their conference slate undefeated for the 16th time in 22 years in the league.

Josh Slowinski (Williamsville, N.Y./Clarence) started the scoring with his ninth goal of the year at the 13:42 mark after taking a pass from classmate and linemate
Dan Entenmann (Auburn, N.Y./Auburn). Just 59 seconds later, Kesselring tallied his first goal of the day off a feed from freshman attackman
Devin Andrews (Canandaigua, N.Y./Canandaigua Academy/Stony Brook). The duo connected again with 10:36 left for a 3-0 lead. The goal made Kesselring the eighth player in the program's history to tally 100 career goals.
Following a turnover by the Dolphins, the Penmen netted their first goal as Corey Cairo finished off a pass from Mark Beirne with 9:35 to go.
Le Moyne closed out the first quarter with four goals over 8:10. Slowinski started the stretch with an unassisted tally with 8:10 left. Kesselring followed at the 4:02 mark by finishing off a pass from Andrews for the third time. Ross Filtch (Marcellus, N.Y./Marcellus/Siena) completed the scoring in the quarter by slipping a shot into the net from the front of the crease for his 18th goal of the year with six seconds left off a pass from Andrews.
Following five minutes of scoreless play to start the second quarter, the Dolphins scored three times in 50 seconds to get into double digits. Kesselring gave his team an 8-1 lead with 9:50 left by scoring his team-best 39th goal of the year with just two seconds left on the 30-second timer after taking another feed from Andrews. With the assist, Andrews became just the fourth Dolphin freshman to have 25 assists in a season and the first since Ryan Spillett '03 in 2000. Kendall Vecchio (Watertown, N.Y./Watertown/Johns Hopkins) won the ensuing faceoff and raced up field before flipping a pass to sophomore attackman
Jake Lewis (Cazenovia, N.Y./Cazenovia/Cleveland State), who buried his 14th goal of the year.
The Dolphins later added four goals in a span of 2:47 en route to taking a 14-1 lead into halftime. Entenmann started the spurt with his 13th goal of the campaign with 4:51 to go. Just 55 seconds later, sophomore midfielder

Ben McCreary (Cicero, N.Y./Christian Brothers Academy) registered his eighth goal of the year only 23 seconds later after collecting a pass from Lewis, who then capped the half's scoring with 2:04 remaining.
Southern New Hampshire cut into its deficit with six of the seven goals in the third quarter. Off a Le Moyne turnover, Tom Schutz scored for the 22nd time with 13:29 left off a pass from Mason Barchard. The Dolphins countered 58 seconds later as senior midfielder
Luke Bartkoski (Victor, N.Y./Victor) scored his first goal off a feed from freshman attackman

Joseph Mayernik cut the deficit back to 12 with his 11th goal with 7:02 left, while Chris West followed with his ninth 32 seconds later. Cairo tallied his 25th of the year with 4:22 remaining in the quarter off a pass from Zach Tanner, who posted his 21st goal 75 seconds later. Cairo scored again 28 seconds later off another feed from Beirne to get the Penmen within 15-7 after three quarters.
Tanner extended SNHU's run to six straight goals by scoring 2:34 into the fourth quarter.

Hans Zimmer (Ballston Spa, N.Y./Ballston Spa) capped Le Moyne's scoring with his ninth goal of the year with 9:09 to play.
Cole Jacobsen tallied his 15th goal with 5:30 remaining, while Devin Calkins scored with 25 seconds left off a pass from Tanner in an extra-man situation to complete the game's scoring.

Jack Sweeney (Syracuse, N.Y./Westhill/Onondaga C.C.) earned his 11th win of the season after making six saves (against one goal) over 27:56 between the pipes. Jacob Dionne recorded eight saves (against 14 goals) in the first half for the Penmen.
Le Moyne (15-0, 11-0 NE-10), which honored the 11 members of the senior class prior to the contest, will host a Northeast-10 Conference Championship semifinals contest on Friday at 12:00 against either fourth-seeded The College of Saint Rose or fifth-seeded Saint Anselm College. The Golden Knights host the Hawks in the first round on Tuesday afternoon.
