DeWitt, N.Y. – The Le Moyne College women's tennis team improved to 5-1 in Northeast-10 Conference action with a 7-0 victory over Saint Michael's College on Sunday at Elevate Fitness.

Birdem Oz (Istanbul, Turkey/TED Ankara College Foundation HS) registered a 6-0 win over Abby Ramsay and Margaret de Pont. Sophomores
Caroline St. Antoine (Longueuil, Québec/Cégep Édouard-Montpetit) and
Marta Nunez (Rye, N.Y./Antonio Lopez (Spain)) improved to 5-1 in NE10 play with a 6-2 win at the second spot over Melissa Wood and Caroline Sumner. Sophomore
Camila Humala (Lima, Peru/Antonio Raimondi) and freshman
Brooke Fernandez (Shirley, N.Y./William Floyd) posted a 6-0 win over Brittany Katz and Katie Costa at the third position.
Le Moyne swept the singles competition for the third time this season. At the first spot, Oz was a 6-1, 6-1 winner over Ramsay. St. Antoine improved to 3-0 at the second position with a 6-1, 6-1 victory over de Pont. Nunez also registered a 6-1, 6-1 win, topping Katz at the third spot, to remain unbeaten in six NE10 matches. Humala picked up her fourth NE10 win of the year, 8-6, over Wood at the fourth position. Freshman
Belen Wibmer (Maldonado, Uruguay/St. Joseph Mary College) was an 8-1 winner at the fifth spot over Sumner for her fourth NE10 victory. Freshman
Brianna Laureti (Oneida, N.Y./Oneida) defeated Anna Schneider, 8-5, at the sixth spot to improve to 3-0 in dual matches.
Le Moyne (6-2, 5-1 NE10) is back in action on Saturday at Southern New Hampshire University at 11:00 a.m.
