Hooksett, N.H. – Alexis Fruzzetti scored a pair of goals to lead 15th-ranked Southern New Hampshire University to a 4-0 win over the Le Moyne College women's soccer team on Saturday night at Penmen Stadium.
The Penmen scored the only goal they would need just over 21 minutes into the game. Off a pass into the middle of the penalty box from Dorthea Glorud, Danielle Humphreys slid a shot into the right side of the goal at the 21:11 mark for her third goal of the year.
Southern New Hampshire, which won the NE10 championship last year, doubled its lead in the 37th minute. Sydney Carney chipped a pass to the right side of the box to Miranda Peloquin, who dribbled in before sending a shot into the right side of the net at the 36:09 mark for her first goal of the campaign.
The Penmen pushed their lead to three just over 14 minutes into the second half. Off a pass by Sydney Crema from the right side of the box to the middle, Fruzzetti fired a shot inside the far left post at the 59:11 mark for her first goal of the season.
Following a defensive save by the Penmen off a Le Moyne corner kick and then two saves by the Dolphins, Southern New Hampshire completed the game's scoring in the 76th minute. Similar to their first connection, Crema sent a pass from the right side to the left side of the box to Fruzzetti, who placed a shot into the right side of the goal at the 75:57 mark.

Anastasija Cumika (Riga, Latvia/Riga Kengarags/West Florida) registered a career-high 12 saves, including eight in the second half, in the setback for the Dolphins. Hannah Rose tallied three saves in the victory for the Penmen. Southern New Hampshire recorded a 26-7 advantage in shots, including 15-4 in the second half, while taking eight of the game's 11 corner kicks.
Le Moyne (2-1), which lost at Southern New Hampshire for the first time since 2012, is back in The Granite State on Wednesday at Franklin Pierce University at 7:00 p.m.
