DeWitt, N.Y. – The Le Moyne College men's tennis team registered its fourth victory of the season by topping Millersville University, 7-0, on Sunday at Elevate Fitness.

The Dolphins won two of three matches in the doubles competition to help them earn their third straight victory.  Seniors Xavier Graells (Castellar del Vallès, Spain/IES Castellar/Harford Community College) and Tyler Underwood (Minoa, N.Y./East Syracuse-Minoa) earned a 6-1 victory over Ben Fellman and Pearson Clary in the second spot.  Senior Andres Hernandez (Monterrey, Mexico/Laurel Springs/Texas Rio Grande Valley) and freshman Gerardo Wibmer (Maldonado, Uruguay/Apostille School) won 7-6 (7-5) in the third position over Frank Yanni and Rodrigo Lorencin. The first doubles team of sophomore Tom Jarry (Paris, France/CNED Toulouse/Emmanuel) and junior Philip Blythe (Edinburgh, Scotland/Merchiston) recorded a 6-4 loss to Peter Landis and Carlos Martinez-Lucas.

Le Moyne swept the singles competition starting with Jarry's victory over Landis, 6-1, 6-2.  At the second spot, Blythe registered a 7-6 (7-3), 6-3 defeat of Martinez-Lucas.  In the third position, Hernandez was victorious over Fellman 6-4, 6-2. Sophomore Christian Erickson (Fairport, N.Y./Fairport) topped Yanni 6-1, 7-5 at the fourth spot.  In the last two single matches of the day, Graells earned an 8-0 victory over Jose Alcazar and graduate student Sven Gopfrich (Erlangen, Germany/Emmy-Noether-Gymnasium Erlangen/Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg) topped Lorencin 7-6, 7-5 to complete the sweep.

Le Moyne (4-1) returns to the courts on Friday at Queens College at 6:00 p.m. in Flushing N.Y.
