LE MOYNE COLLEGE MEN'S LACROSSE ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH CASCADE MAVERIK LACROSSE

Syracuse, N.Y. – Le Moyne College and the men's lacrosse program announced on Friday afternoon a partnership with Cascade Maverik Lacrosse, the industry leaders in head protection and lacrosse equipment. With the agreement, the Dolphins will wear Cascade helmets and be outfitted in Maverik protective equipment along with its complete line of heads and handles for the 2020 season.

"We are excited to begin this partnership with Cascade and Maverick Lacrosse," said 23rd-year head coach Dan Sheehan. "The quality of their products speak for themselves.  We are two organizations that share a common goal, to be the very best in our class."

The Dolphins will wear the newest elite Cascade helmet, the S, customized in their colorways. The S incorporates several new, game-changing helmet technologies, including a new Tri-liner™ impact management system that is integrated with the shell, new Xflo™ ventilation that more than doubles the breathability of previous helmet models and a new Vision Bar™ facemask that ensure the ball is never out of sight. The S is the safest helmet Cascade has ever made.

"We are excited to add Le Moyne College to our collegiate partner program," said Billy Bitter, Marketing Manager for Cascade Maverik Lacrosse. "As a five-time National Chanpion, we are honored and thrilled to have the Dolphins wear Cascade S helmets and use Maverik sticks and protective gear. We are looking forward to what Le Moyne does for the 2020 season."

The Dolphins will wear Maverik's best-in-class impact protection — the Rome line. The Rome line delivers Maverik's full package of innovation and functionality, offering maximum protection and breathability, outstanding fit and the best materials, for world-class player performance. Highlighted by the new E-Form™ technology, which allows the Rome line to deliver maximum impact dispersion in a body-heat activated, custom-contoured fit. Complemented by a full line of heads featuring the latest Optik 2.0 and Havok heads, Maverik is on a tireless mission to offer players high-performance product that helps them play their best.

Le Moyne, which won a share of its 17th NE10 regular season in 23 years in the conference, finished the 2019 season with a record of 16-3 and earned a berth in the NCAA Championships for the 17th time in the last 18 years, including their 14th NCAA semifinal appearance.
