Syracuse, N.Y. – Senior guard
Ryan Roland (Syracuse, N.Y./Westhill/Mercyhurst) scored 19 points in the first half to lead the Le Moyne College men's basketball team to a 98-77 victory over American International College in Northeast-10 Conference action at Ted Grant Court.
Roland finished the contest with a game-high 25 points and added a career high-tying eight assists, a career-best five steals along with five rebounds. Senior guard
Zay Jennings (Allentown, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic/Caldwell) recorded 11 of his 16 points off the bench in the first half. Senior forward
Tom Brown (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) tallied 13 points and grabbed a team-high six rebounds to go with three steals. Junior guard

Lonnie Rivera (Spring Valley, N.Y./Don Bosco Prep (N.J.)/American/Wagner) turned in 12 and 11 points, respectively.
Goree Venable came off the bench to score 18 points, including 10 in the second half, and grab seven rebounds to lead the Yellow Jackets. Zekiah Owens, Shyheim Hicks and Logan Santiago each scored 13 points, while Santiago dished out seven assists.
After Santiago opened the game's scoring with a free throw, the Dolphins rattled off the next nine points for the lead, which they would not relinquish. Roland had a conventional three-point play and a three-pointer around a three-pointer by redshirt senior guard

The Yellow Jackets countered with six straight points, but could not get any closer. Owens made back-to-back baskets in the paint and then Jalen Jordan hit a jump shot.
The Dolphins regained control with seven straight points and 22 of the next 32 to open up a 31-17 lead with 11:31 left. Roland had eight of the points, Brown seven, Jennings four and Leavell made a three-pointer.
After a pair of free throws by Venable, the Dolphins rattled off an 18-5 run over 4:36 to take their largest lead of the half at 49-24 with 5:55 left. Rivera tallied seven of the first 11 points, while four other Dolphins scored in the span.
Following five points from each team over the next two and one-half minutes, the Yellow Jackets tallied 11 straight points to get within 54-40 with 1:03 left in the half. Hicks had the final six points of the span with a pair of three-pointers.
Leavell and Roland made lay-ups in the final 31 seconds to give the Dolphins a 58-40 lead at halftime.

BB Chuks-Mady (Hamilton, Ontario/GTA Prep) scored the scoring with a basket, Brown followed with a three-pointer to force an AIC timeout and then sophomore guard
Nino Hernandez (Gardner, Mass./The Winchendon School/Bryant) made a fast-break lay-up with 17:39 remaining.
Following two and one-half minutes of back-and-forth play, the Yellow Jackets scored 16 of the next 22 points to get within 81-68 with 7:27 to play. Venable had six of the points, while four others scored in the stretch.
After alternating points over two and one-half minutes, the Dolphins put the game away with a 10-2 run. Jennings had the first five points, Rivera made a lay-up and Leavell capped the run with three free throws.

Souleymane Gueye (Dakar, Senegal/Hachioji Academy (Tokyo, Japan)/Snow College) ended the game's scoring with a lay-up in the final minute.
Le Moyne (9-4, 5-0 NE10), which has won a league-best six in a row, returns to the hardwood on Wednesday at Pace University at 7:30 p.m.
