New Haven, Conn. – The Le Moyne College men's basketball team had three players score in double figures in the first half en route to a 73-60 win at Southern Connecticut State University on Saturday afternoon in Northeast-10 Conference action at Moore Fieldhouse.
Senior guard
Ryan Roland (Syracuse, N.Y./Westhill/Mercyhurst) led the Dolphins in scoring with 15 points, including 10 in the first half, while adding three steals. Senior forward
Tom Brown (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) and junior guard
Tim Leavell (Marion, Ind./Marion/State Fair C.C.) each posted 10 of their 12 points in the first half, while Brown grabbed six rebounds and had two steals. Sophomore guard
Nino Hernandez (Gardner, Mass./The Winchendon School/Bryant) tallied 11 points and pulled down six rebounds.
Greg Jones led the Owls in the setback with a double-double of 15 point and game-best 12 rebounds, including 10 in the first half. Isaiah Boissard turned in 11 points, including eight in the second half, and seven rebounds. Levar Allen had 10 points, while Lyron Bennett collected 10 rebounds.
Le Moyne (18-7, 14-3 NE10), which cut its magic number to one to clinch its fourth straight outright Southwest Division title, closes out its road schedule on Wednesday at American International College at 7:30 p.m.
