New Haven, Conn. – Redshirt freshman
Ryan McMahon (Syracuse, N.Y./West Genesee) registered a third-place finish to lead the Le Moyne College men's swimming and diving team to third place on the first day of the Northeast-10 Conference Championships at the Hutchinson Natatorium on the campus of Southern Connecticut State University. The women's team is in fourth place through three events.
Bentley University leads the men's rankings with 99 points through three events. The host Owls are second with 98.5 points and the Dolphins have 64.5 points for third.
On the women's side, Southern Connecticut State is in first with 154 points. Bentley is second with 99 points, Assumption University has 87 points for third and the Dolphins are fourth with 80 points.
McMahon recorded a time of 9:57.78 in the 1000-yard freestyle to land in the tie for third place.
Freshman
Justin Byrne (Syracuse, N.Y./West Genesee) finished in fourth place in the one-meter diving event with a score of 420.75 to earn the Dolphins 11 points.

Kellogg finished in sixth place in the 1000-yard freestyle in 10:53.80.
Zapisek placed seventh in the 1000-yard freestyle in 10:56.98.
Senior
Vicki Silaika (Rexford, N.Y./Shenendehowa) posted a time of 11:02.86 to place 10th in the 1000-yard freestyle.
