SECOND-RANKED MEN’S LACROSSE CONCLUDES ROAD SLATE WITH 15-4 VICTORY AT FRANKLIN PIERCE

Rindge, N.H. – Graduate student attackman Devin Andrews (Canandaigua, N.Y./Canandaigua Academy/Stony Brook) recorded six points to lead the second-ranked Le Moyne College men's lacrosse team to a 15-4 victory over Franklin Pierce University in Northeast-10 Conference action at Sodexo Field.

The Dolphins opened the game with the first 10 goals. Andrews started the scoring at the 13:37 mark with his 16th goal of the season. Following a turnover by the Ravens, sophomore short-stick defensive midfielder Max Cramer (Manlius, N.Y./Fayetteville-Manlius) netted his first goal of the year from the left edge of the crease at the 12:14 mark off a pass from Andrews. Senior midfielder Sam Lambert (Victor, N.Y./Victor) picked up his second goal of the campaign with 10:10 left after cutting across the middle of the field. Senior midfielder Colin Sypek (Lake Worth, Fla./American Heritage School (Delray Beach)) posted his 18th goal of the season 51 seconds later off a dish from senior attackman Kevin Sheehan (Camillus, N.Y./West Genesee). Andrews scored another minute later off another feed from Sheehan. The duo connected again 39 seconds later to give the Dolphins a 6-0 lead.

Following 10 and one-half minutes of scoreless play, Andrews started the scoring in the second quarter at the 11:59 mark with his fourth goal of the day after collecting a pass from graduate student attackman Carter Collins (Prior Lake, Minn./Prior Lake/Lindenwood), who followed with his 31st goal of the campaign with 10:07 left off a dish from Sheehan. Graduate student midfielder Evan Kelly (Honeoye Falls, N.Y./Aquinas Institute) netted his 12th goal of the year with 7:16 to go after receiving a pass in an extra-man situation from Sypek. Senior attackman John Howes (, N.Y./West Genesee) capped the game-opening outburst with his third goal of the year with 3:36 left in the half.

Caleb Ikkela got the Ravens on the scoreboard with 1:24 remaining with his 15th goal of the season.

Andrews finished off the scoring in the first half with his 20th goal of the campaign with four seconds left off a pass from Lambert.

Le Moyne tallied the first two goals of the third quarter for a 13-1 lead. Sophomore attackman Preston Taylor (Liverpool, N.Y./Christian Brothers Academy) posted his second goal of the year at the 11:25 mark off a dish from Howes. Sophomore midfielder Kyle Caves (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool) followed with his fourth goal of the year just over one minute later.

Ikkela tallied his second goal of the game 11 seconds later off a pass from Owen McCormack.

Senior midfielder John Bergan (Camillus, N.Y./West Genesee) pushed Le Moyne's lead back to 12 with 4:43 left after receiving a pass from junior attackman Griffin Ackley (Parkton, Md./Calvert Hall).

The Ravens scored the first two goals of the fourth quarter to pull within 10. Ikkela scored with 10:07 left and then fed Josh Dorr for his 16th goal of the year with 9:18 to go.

Redshirt sophomore midfielder Ryder Simser (Watertown, N.Y./Watertown) recorded his first career goal with an extra-man tally with 7:49 left to complete the game's scoring.

Graduate student goalkeeper Frank Delia (Baldwinsville, N.Y./C.W. Baker/Onondaga C.C.) turned away a pair of shots in the first half to record his 13th win of the season. Mike Masterpolo made 13 saves in the loss for the Ravens.

Le Moyne (13-1, 9-0 NE10) closes out the regular season on Tuesday by hosting fourth-ranked Adelphi University at 4:00 p.m.
