Cortland, N.Y. – The Le Moyne College men's and women's swimming and diving teams closed out the regular season on Saturday against SUNY Cortland at Harriet Holsten Pool. The Red Dragons swept the meet, taking the women's portion, 180.5-117.5, and the men's side, 181-112.
"The meet today ended a 10-day period with four swim meets," said head coach
Adam Zaczkowski '04. "It's hard to sustain a level of continued results and today was a culmination of that. The mental toughness never wavered, but our bodies are tired. The Red Dragon squad is a capable opponent and tested us in every facet today. We were good in so many ways, we just ran out of gas. We are looking forward to regrouping, resting and tapering for the Northeast-10 Conference meet in 19 days. We've put in the work and the results will be there. I'm so proud of the Le Moyne men and women. They always rise to the task, whether meet or training, and the end result will be fantastic."
