Colchester, Vt. – Romar Reid hit a go-ahead three-pointer with 1:17 left and finished with a game-high 18 points to lead Saint Michael's College to a 71-64 victory over the Le Moyne College men's basketball team in Northeast-10 Conference action on Wednesday night at the Ross Sports Center.

Isaiah Salter (Charlotte, N.C./Central Cabarrus/American International/Adelphi) recorded 10 points posted 10 points in a reserve role.
Reid tallied 11 of his 18 points in the second half and finished the game shooting 5-of-6 from the field, including 2-of-2 from three-point range, and 6-of-8 from the foul line. Nahshon Battle also netted 18 points, including 10 after halftime. CJ Crews turned in 13 points, including eight in the first half.
After the Dolphins jumped out to a 6-2 lead through the opening three and one-half minutes of the game, the Purple Knights rattled off 13 straight points. Chuma Oyigbo ignited the run with a three-pointer, Reid made a lay-up for the lead and then Oyigbo drilled another three-pointer. Following two scoreless minutes, Reid made a free throw, Battle converted a lay-up and then Reid made two more foul shots for a 15-6 lead with 10:57 to go in the half.
The teams traded points over the next five minutes before Washington made a lay-up and junior guard
Darrick Jones Jr. (Richmond, Va./Oak Hill Academy/Towson) drained a three-pointer to get the Dolphins within 23-19 with 5:01 left.
Following six points from each team over the next 3:44, Battle and Reid each made lay-ups over the final 66 seconds to give Saint Michael's a 33-25 lead at halftime.
After Sutherland started the scoring in the second half with a three-pointer, Saint Michael's scored eight of the next 10 points to take an 11-point lead with 17:54 left at 41-30. Jacob Duniver made a three-pointer and then Reid converted a lay-up and a three-pointer around two Le Moyne free throws.
Le Moyne responded with a 16-1 run to take a four-point lead. Sutherland started the run with a jumper, Wilson answered a free by the Purple Knights with a lay-up, Jones Jr. buried a three-pointer from the right corner and then Wingfield made a pair of free throws. Washington then drained a three-pointer from the left wing to even the score at 42. Wingfield followed with a free throw for the lead and then Salter drilled a three-pointer from the left wing with 11:48 left.
Saint Michael's answered with five straight points to take the lead back. Battle had a traditional three-point play and then Alan Brzezinski made a lay-up with 10:48 to go.
Following a Washington lay-up and a fast-break lay-up by Wingfield off a block by Sutherland to put the Dolphins back in front, Battle nailed a three-pointer to tie the score at 50 with 8:59 remaining.
The teams then traded the lead six times over the next two minutes before Wingfield put the Dolphins up with a jumper and Sutherland followed with a lay-up for a 59-56 advantage with 6:01 to play.
Crews answered with a lay-up and then Brzezinski buried a three-pointer for a 61-60 lead with 4:12 remaining.
Le Moyne countered with four points over its next two possessions. Sutherland made two free throws and Salter followed with a fallaway jumper to beat the shot clock with 3:05 remaining to put the Dolphins in front, 64-61, but those would be their final points of the game.
Saint Michael's tallied the final 10 points to claim its first home victory since November 26. Darrel Yepdo started the streak with two free throws with 2:14 left. Following a miss by the Dolphins, Reid hit a step-back three-pointer for the lead with 1:17 to go. After a missed three by Le Moyne, Reid drew a foul with 36 seconds left and converted both foul shot attempts. Battle followed with two free throws with 22 seconds to go. Reid finished the scoring with one free throw with 10 seconds remaining.
Le Moyne (14-13, 11-8 NE10), which was listed among the 10 teams under consideration in the first release of the NCAA East Region rankings, closes out the regular season on Saturday at Ted Grant Court at 3:00 p.m. against the University of New Haven.
