Joey Pezzimenti (Victor, N.Y./Victor/UAlbany) had a hand in four straight goals as the top-ranked Le Moyne College men's lacrosse team overcame a first-half deficit en route to a 12-8 victory over 10th-ranked Pace University on Tuesday afternoon in Northeast-10 Conference action at Pace Stadium.
Pezzimenti, who finished the game with a career-high seven points, opened the game's scoring at the 11:20 mark by finishing off a pass from junior swingman

The Setters answered with a pair of goals to take the lead for the first time. Daniel Zabbia registered an unassisted goal at the 10:32 mark to tie the score and then Ryan Brown scored off a pass from Colin Reese with 7:54 remaining in the opening quarter.
Le Moyne, which defeated its fourth top-10 opponent of the season, knotted the score at two with 4:41 left as redshirt sophomore midfielder
Ethan Loun (West Linn, Ore./West Linn) registered his 10th goal of the season after taking a pass from Pezzimenti.
Pace countered with three straight goals to close out the scoring in the quarter. Anthony Caputo put the Setters in front with 3:46 to go. Reese pushed the lead to two 47 seconds later after taking a pass from Trevor Lamoureux. Zabbia made it 5-2 with 1:19 remaining in the quarter.

Kyle Caves (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool) finished off a pass from Pezzimenti 14 seconds into the extra-man opportunity at the 14:08 mark.
Caputo extended Pace's lead back to three with 10:17 remaining in the half.
The Dolphins answered with the final three goals of the quarter to even the score. After another Pace penalty, Caves scored in the extra-man situation again at the 6:30 mark off a dish from Benedict. Just under two minutes later, Pezzimenti netted his second goal of the game. He scored again with 1:11 remaining to tie the score at six.
Le Moyne extended its run to five straight goals with the first two of the third quarter. Benedict put the Dolphins in front for good at the 13:06 mark after collecting a pass from Pezzimenti, who then scored his 17th goal of the year with 10:58 left in the quarter.
Caputo snapped Pace's scoring drought of 17:30 with his 16th goal of the season with 7:47 to go.

Kevin Sheehan (Camillus, N.Y./West Genesee) scored off a pass from Benedict.
Pace netted its final goal of the game with 4:30 left in the quarter to get within one as Alex Cenci scored off a feed from Brown.
Le Moyne scored all three goals of the fourth quarter. Benedict scored just 16 seconds into the period after receiving a pass from Sheehan. Senior midfielder
Griffin Ackley (Parkton, Md./Calvert Hall) scored his first goal of the season with 11:23 after scooping up a loose ball in front of the net and dumping it into the net. Ackley tallied the final goal of the game with 3:22 remaining.
Graduate student goalkeeper
Matt Vavonese (Syracuse, N.Y./Christian Brothers Academy/Canisius) earned the win between the pipes after registering a season high-tying 13 saves, including four in each of the final three quarters. Louis Ragusa, a USILA All-America Honorable Mention last year, turned away 10 shots in his first loss of the season.
Le Moyne (7-0, 3-0 NE10), which won its 27th straight matchup with the Setters, returns home to face Saint Michael's College on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
