Flushing, N.Y. – Le Moyne junior left-handed starting pitcher
Max Parker (Manlius, N.Y./Fayetteville-Manlius) and freshman left fielder/third baseman
Adam Sullivan (Syracuse, N.Y./Marcellus) have been named to the 2023 Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-East Region Baseball Second Team due to their outstanding play during the 2023 campaign.
Parker earned one of the four starting pitcher spots on the second team, while Sullivan was placed in the utility spot.
Both players were previously named to the NE10 All-Conference First Team, and Parker was subsequently placed on the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) All-East Region Second Team.
Parker compiled a 2.53 ERA and a 4-2 record in eight starts and 53.1 innings pitched during the regular season. In a non-conference East Region matchup against Saint Thomas Aquinas on February 24, Parker went 7.0 innings and allowed just two hits, one run and two walks with 11 strikeouts. During a seven-inning non-conference battle against Franklin Pierce at home on April 2, Parker tossed a two-hit complete game with just one walk and eight strikeouts as the 'Phins claimed a 3-0 win.
During his four starts against Northeast-10 Conference Southwest Division opponents, Parker established a league-best 1.55 earned run average with a 2-1 record and a 1.28 WHIP in 29.0 innings pitched. The junior lefty recorded 22 strikeouts during conference play and allowed just seven runs in total during league games.
Parker has tossed a team-high 66.1 innings in 2023 with 58 strikeouts and just 16 walks. Opposing batters are hitting .233 against Parker so far this season.
Parker's first NE10 start, and his first and only conference loss, came against the Southern Connecticut State University Owls on April 7. Parker went 6.0 innings during the seven-inning contest and held the Owls to just five hits, zero earned runs and two walks with four strikeouts. SCSU scored two unearned runs against Parker and came away with a 2-1 win.

During Le Moyne's four-game series sweep at Pace, Parker earned a complete-game victory during game one of the series. Parker tossed all 9.0 innings against the Setters and held them to three runs as the Dolphins claimed a 7-3 win.
As the Dolphins went 15-5 during the month of April, Sullivan slashed .333/.417/.603 with 16 runs scored, 21 hits (including four doubles, two triples and three home runs), 22 runs batted in, nine walks and five stolen bases.
Through 37 starts in his rookie campaign, the Syracuse native has a slash line of .317/.407/.548 with 31 runs, 40 hits (including 10 doubles, two triples and five home runs), 33 runs batted in and 17 walks drawn. Sullivan has played both left field and third base this season for the Dolphins, which made him eligible in the utility spot. Sullivan was named the Northeast-10 Conference Southwest Division Rookie Hitter of the Year and was also placed on the All-Conference First Team in the utility spot. Sullivan is the only freshman in the last 20 years of Le Moyne baseball to earn All-Region accolades.
During Le Moyne's four-game sweep of Saint Rose on April 15 and 16, Sullivan tallied a combined six hits, six runs scored, and nine runs batted in with two home runs (including a grand slam in the series finale).
