LIU DEFEATS VOLLEYBALL IN HOME OPENER

Syracuse, N.Y.  – The Le Moyne College volleyball team hosted their home opener in Ted Grant Court against Long Island University, Friday night.  The Sharks took all three sets winning the match 3-0, with set scores of 25-16, 25-17, and 25-12.

"I think our nerves got the best of us tonight" said head coach Susan Kim. "Unfortunately, we didn't do a good job of limiting LIU's runs. As we get further into the season, we need to clean up our touches and execute more consistently. Our theme right now is to play better together as a team and to do our individual jobs well so it flows more cohesively."
