Bridgewater, N.J. - Freshman Liam Rocks (Jersey City, N.J./St. Peter's Prep) and senior Jack Gibson (Ilion, N.Y./Central Valley Academy) have earned Northeast Conference Weekly Award honors due to their performances this past weekend at the Canisius Alumni Invitational.

Rocks has been named the Northeast Conference Cross Country Rookie of the Week for the second time this season. He set a personal record in the eight-kilometer course during the Canisius Alumni Invitational, where he placed 24^th overall with a time of 26:21.8. Liam's previous personal best for the 8k was set during the Yellowjacket XC Invitational on September 21^st, where he ran the 8k in a time of 26:28.9.

Gibson was named an Northeast Conference Cross Country Prime Performer for the second time this season as well. He also set a personal record in the eight-kilometer course, finishing with a time of 25:40.3 and placing 13^th overall. Jack's previous personal best for the 8k was set during the Lehigh Paul Short Run on October 5th, where he ran a time of 26:12.2. Gibson led Le Moyne to a 3^rd place finish out of the 11 teams that competed.

The duo look to continue their success ahead of the Northeast Conference Cross Country Championships held in New Britain, Conn. on the campus of CCSU November 1^st.
