Buffalo, N.Y. – The Le Moyne men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Canisius Alumni Classic on Saturday afternoon.
The men's program finished the day placing 6
th overall out of 14 total teams and 182 participants in the 8k event. Sophomore
Tyler Cooper (Sloatsburg, N.Y./Suffern) earned the highest finish of the day for the 'Phins, after placing 14
th overall, clocking in with a time of 25:38.3. Sophomore
Carson Campbell (Lee Center, N.Y./Rome Free Academy) placed 27
th overall after running a time of 26:25.7.
Junior
Mike Purvis (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool) placed 36
th overall after running a time of 26:46.8. Sophomore
Liam Rocks (Jersey City, N.J./St. Peter's Prep) placed 72
nd overall, earning a time of 27:51.1, as classmate
Brendan O'Rourke (New Milford, N.J./Bergen Catholic) placed 95
th overall, running a time of 28:48.3 to round out the scoring for the Dolphins.
The women's program finished the day placing 8
th overall out of 14 total teams and 145 participants in the 5k event. Sophomore
Jasmin Gonzalex-Rivera (Utica, N.Y./Thomas R. Proctor) placed 26
th overall, earning the best finish of the day for the 'Phins after running a time of 19:07.8. Classmate
Isabella O'Donnell (Latham, N.Y./Shaker) placed 29
th overall after running a time of 19:22.0

Mackenzie Ples (Lowville, N.Y./Lowville) placed 58
th overall after clocking in with a time of 20:07.7. Fifth Year
Hailey Beckwith (Stephentown, N.Y./Berlin) placed 95
th overall after running a time of 21:14.6, as freshman
Emily Judd (Chittenango, N.Y.) placed 121
st overall, running a time of 22:59.5 to round out the scoring for the 'Phins.
What's Next:
The Dolphins competed in their final regular season meet of the 2025 campaign. The 2025 NEC Cross Country Championships will be held Saturday, November 1st hosted by Saint Francis University.
