Bethlehem, Pa. – The Le Moyne College men's and women's cross country teams competed at the 51
st Paul Short Invitational hosted by Lehigh University on Friday afternoon.
On the men's side, a total of 38 different teams and 314 participants competed in the Men's College Brown 8k. The Brown race was one of four different events held throughout the day.
Sophomore
Liam Rocks (Jersey City, N.J./St. Peter's Prep) held the best finish of the day for the 'Phins, placing 85
th overall after running a time of 25:52.3. Junior
Tyler Cooper (Sloatsburg, N.Y./Sufferm) placed 152
nd overall after running a time of 26:30.7. Sophomore
Carson Campbell (Lee Center, N.Y./Rome Free Academy) placed 177
th overall, clocking in with a time of 26:44.3. Junior
Mike Purvis (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool) placed 238
th overall, running a time of 27:19.9. Senior
Jake Roman (Liverpool, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse/SUNY Morrisville) placed 303
rd overall after running a time of 29:39.5 to round out the scoring for the 'Phins.
On the women's side, a total of 39 different teams including 328 participants competed in the Women's College Brown 6k.
Sophomore
Jasmin Gonzalez-Rivera (Utica, N.Y./Thomas R. Proctor) led the way after placing 178
th overall, clocking in with a time of 23:29.9. Classmate
Isabella O'Donnell (Latham, N.Y./Shaker) placed 218
th after running a time of 23:54.4. Junior
Mackenzie Ples (Lowville, N.Y./Lowville) placed 219
th overall after clocking in with a time of 23:55.2. Classmate
