New Britain, Conn. – The Le Moyne College women's basketball team will travel to Central Connecticut State University for their second meeting with the Blue Devils on Thursday at 7:00 p.m.

The Dolphins were victorious during the first-ever meeting between the two programs on January 19 in Syracuse. Le Moyne bested CCSU by a score of 57-44 at Ted Grant Court. Fifth-year guard Lytoya Baker (Rochester, N.Y./Bishop Kearney) recorded 17 points and 15 rebounds to add to her league-leading double-double tally, sophomore guard Sierra Linnin (Valley Cottage, N.Y./Albertus Magnus) made four three pointers to finish the game with 13 points and five rebounds, and redshirt-junior forward Haedyn Roberts (Holland Patent, N.Y./Holland Patent) added nine points and six rebounds.

Le Moyne pulled down a season-high 49 rebounds during the win, and surrendered a season-best 44 points.

Through 10 conference games, Baker is first among NEC players in rebounds per game (9.0), fifth in scoring (15.0), second in blocks (1.2), first in assist to turnover ratio (2.21), and eighth in assists (3.1).

Sophomore guard Kaia Goode (Rochester, N.Y./Bishop Kearney) is currently fourth in assists (3.3), fifth in assist to turnover ratio (1.38) and seventh in steals (1.5) during conference play, while Linnin is third in three pointers made (25) and sixth in three-point field goal percentage (.368).

Roberts is first in free throw percentage (.880), junior guard Emily Florvil (Brooklyn, N.Y./Nazareth) is fourth in steals (1.7), junior forward Brianna Williams (Brampton, Ontario/Southwest Academy/Hartford) is fourth in blocked shots (0.8), and graduate guard Sydney Lusher (Oneida, N.Y./Oneida) is fourth in three-point field goal percentage (.389) and sixth in steals (1.6).

As a team during conference play, the Dolphins are first in three-point field goal percentage (.341), blocked shots (4.2), assists (14.1), and assist to turnover ratio. They rank second in points allowed (55.4), scoring margin (+8.1), field goal percentage (.402), field goal percentage allowed (.370), and turnover margin (+4.30).

The Dolphins claimed their 10th win of the season, and their fifth home victory on February 9 with a 72-51 win over Stonehill. Le Moyne pulled away in the fourth quarter and were led in scoring by Baker and Lusher, who tallied 15 points each. Baker also pulled down 12 rebounds to register her league-leading ninth double-double, and Lusher recorded five steals during the win for the third time this season.

Linnin and Roberts also scored in double figures during the win with 12 and 10 points, respectively, while Goode contributed nine points and a game-high five assists.

Le Moyne, the second NEC team to reach 10 wins this season, is currently second in the league standings with an 8-2 record in Northeast Conference action.

The Dolphins are 4-1 in NEC road games, with their lone loss coming at Saint Francis on January 21.

Le Moyne responded with three consecutive wins following that setback in Loretto, including an 80-62 win at LIU on January 27.

Central Connecticut State (6-17, 4-6 NEC), led by first-year head coach Way Veney, claimed two consecutive conference wins over Saint Francis and Merrimack before falling to Sacred Heart in their most recent outing on January 9.

Sophomore guard Samora Watson, who leads the NEC in scoring with 18.0 points per game, scored 37 points during the win over Merrimack, which is the most points scored during a Northeast Conference women's basketball game so far this season. During NEC play the Blue Devils are limiting their opponents to a league-best 35% shooting from the field. They also hold the best free-throw percentage at 79.1%.

The Blue Devils are currently 5-3 at home this season, the same home record as the Dolphins.

So far this season, the Dolphins are 1-1 during the second game of a home-and-home series against a NEC opponent that they beat the first time around.

Le Moyne claimed their first-ever NEC regular sweep against Merrimack, besting the Warriors by a score of 74-59 in North Andover on January 13, followed by a 64-57 win in Syracuse on January 25.

Le Moyne split their two games with Sacred Heart. The Dolphins handed the Pios their only NEC loss on January 15 in Fairfield, but SHU avenged that loss on February 3 in Syracuse.

Following Thursday's game at CCSU, the Dolphins will remain on the road for a 2:00 p.m. matchup at Stonehill on Saturday.
