Bridgewater, N.J. - Le Moyne College senior Jack Gibson (Ilion, N.Y./Central Valley Academy) and freshman Liam Rocks (Jersey City, N.J./St. Peter's Prep) have been named the Northeast Conference Cross Country Athlete and Rookie of the Week, as announced by the conference on Wednesday afternoon.

Gibson and Rocks both competed at the Daemen Alumni Invitational this past weekend. Gibson led the way for the Dolphins as he placed 3^rd overall in the eight-kilometer course, crossing the finish line in a time of 27:02.2. Rocks finished just seven seconds behind his teammate, completing the race in a time of 27:09.5 and placed 4^th overall.

Jack and Liam were also named Northeast Conference Prime Performers due to their contributions over the weekend.

The Dolphins placed 3^rd overall out of five teams with a total of 59 points, finishing just one point behind Daemen who had 58 points, and Roberts Wesleyan with 46 points.

Le Moyne will be back in action this weekend as they head to Rochester, N.Y. to compete in the Yellowjacket Invitational on Saturday.
