McPheron pulled out her second save of the game in the 17

The Seahawks added their second goal of the game just a minute later, as Gallagher fired a shot towards the bottom right side of the goal, saved by McPheron, but the rebound fell to Rivera who placed the ball into the back of the net.
Casey had her attempt on goal saved in the 70
th minute after cutting in from the left wing and firing a shot towards the top left corner, but had it deflected away by Marcello as Le Moyne looked to respond. In the 74

McPheron added her seventh save of the game in the 87

Kantak stepped up to take the penalty kick, placing her effort into the bottom right corner of the goal to make the score 2-1 with the Seahawks still clinging onto their advantage. The Dolphins had one last chance to grab their equalizer in the final 40 seconds of play, as the ball found the feet of Day in the box, but her attempt went just to the left of the post.
