New Britain, Conn. – The Le Moyne College women's soccer team earned a draw in its NEC matchup against the CCSU Blue Devils Thursday evening.

The Dolphins and Blue Devils met for what was the 9
th NEC game for the 'Phins and the 10
th for CCSU. Prior to today's contest, Le Moyne fell to Wagner by a score of 1-2 on Sunday, as CCSU took down LIU by a score of 4-2.
The Dolphins earned the first shot of the game in the 3
rd minute taken by senior midfielder
Lindsey LeBlanc (Westminster, Mass./St. Bernard's), untroubling junior goalkeeper Melina Ford as the attempt resulted in a goal kick. Seven minutes later, junior midfielder
Giovanna Vigliotti (Camillus, N.Y./West Genesee) recorded her first shot of the game to the left of the goal as the 'Phins were knocking on the door.
Ford was forced to make her first save of the game in the 10
th minute, as sophomore forward
Alivia Day (Rochester, N.Y./Rush-Henrietta) took a shot headed toward the top left corner. Junior forward
Hope Adigun (Clay, N.Y./Liverpool) entered the game in the 12
th minute of the game to make her twelfth appearance of the season.

Mikayla McPheron (Rome, N.Y./Rome Free Academy) made her first save of the game in the 13
th minute of the game, as sophomore forward Kayla Ward took a shot headed just under the crossbar. Freshman forward
Kaitlyn Gilhooly (Chicopee, Mass./Chicopee Comprehensive) forced Ford to make her second save of the game in the 18
th minute.
Fifth year midfielder
Gabriella Sylstra (Little Falls, N.Y./Little Falls/Old Dominion/Richard Bland) made her first appearance of the game in the 20
th minute as the 'Phins continued to push for the games opening goal. McPheron made her second save of the game in the 21
st minute off a shot taken by freshman midfielder Isabella Cambio that was headed down the lower middle of the goal.

Finley Brown (South Portland, Maine/Cheverus) made their first appearance of the game in the 26
th minute of the game to provide reinforcements to the team. Freshman midfielder

McPheron made her third save of the game in the 37
th minute off a shot taken by sophomore defender Leah Howe that was headed towards the bottom left corner of the goal to keep the score level at 0-0. Vigliotti recorded her second shot of the game in the 42
nd minute, as Ford made a save off an attempt headed towards the upper middle of the goal.
The two sides entered halftime with the score knotted at 0-0, as both programs went into the break with six shots each.
Sophomore forward
Nicole Calle (Providence, R.I./Cumberland) recorded the first shot of the 2
nd half for the 'Phins, however her attempt did not cause any trouble for Ford. McPheron made her fourth and fifth saves of the game in the 58
th and 59
th minute to keep the Blue Devils from scoring. On the ensuing possession, Calle took a shot headed toward the center of the goal that was saved by Ford, as the two sides continued to create opportunities.
McPheron was called into action again in the 66
th minute of the game, as a shot taken by junior midfielder Riley Powers was headed down the lower center of the goal. She added her seventh save of the game just a minute later off an attempt headed towards the bottom right corner from senior defender Kiley Yepes. Mikayla recorded her eighth save of the game in the 69
th minute off another shot towards the bottom right of the goal taken by junior midfielder Emma Radoncic.
Graduate student midfielder
Danielle Casey (Clifton Park, N.Y./Shenendehowa) re-entered the game in the 72
nd minute hoping to provide a spark for Le Moyne. Two minutes later, Brown had her shot saved by Ford.
McPheron made her season-high ninth save of the game in the 78
th of a shot headed just under the crossbar taken by Howe. Neither side were able to create a concrete chance on goal as the game came to a close with both sides walking away with a point each.
