Syracuse, N.Y. – Graduate student forward Shilo Jackson (Indianapolis, Ind./North Central/Vincennes/Texas A&M-Corpus Christi) of the men's basketball team has been named the Le Moyne Athlete of the Week, presented by King + King Architects.
 
Jackson and the Dolphins traveled to Easton, Pa. to compete in the Lafayette Classic, hosted by Lafayette College. Participants included Le Moyne, Monmouth, Ball State and Lafayette.
 
The 'Phins pulled off a win in their opening game against Lafayette 76-63 after Shilo led with a game-high 21 points on 9-13 FG, adding 15 rebounds, 5 blocks, 2 steals and 2 assists.
 
The following day, the Dolphins took on the Hawks of Monmouth University, winning 83-79. Shilo finished the game with 21 points on 9-10 FG, 11 rebounds, 4 blocks and 2 assists.
 
Le Moyne concluded the Lafayette Classic with a loss against Ball State, where Jackson scored 12 points on 3-5 FG, 10 rebounds, 2 blocks and 2 assists.
 
Over the weekend, Jackson averaged 18 points, 12 rebounds, 3.7 blocks and 2 assists.
