Syracuse, N.Y. – Sophomore pitcher Isabella Kwashek (West Deptford, N.J./West Deptford) of the softball team has been named the Le Moyne Athlete of the Week, presented by CADimensions Inc.
 
Kwashek, who was also named the NEC Pitcher of the Week, went 2-1 over the weekend with a team-best 0.55 ERA through 12.2 innings pitched. She made one start and appeared in two relief spots, allowing just one earned run on eight hits and four walks while striking out three batters.
 
In the team's 9-0 win over the Chargers on Saturday, Kwashek tossed a complete game shutout, allowing just three hits and two walks while striking out two batters.
 
The Dolphins are set to host their home opener against Saint Francis this weekend, with the first game starting at 1:00 P.M. on Friday.
