Syracuse, N.Y. – Junior goalkeeper Lucas Winger (Glenview, Ill./Glenbrook South) of the men's lacrosse team has been named the Le Moyne Athlete of the Week, presented by CADimensions Inc.
 
Winger earns the honor after making 12 saves in Le Moyne's 6-4 come-from-behind victory over Detroit Mercy on Saturday. He made four saves in each of the third and fourth quarters, while holding the Titans to just a third quarter goal as the Dolphins scored the final four goals of the game.
 
Lucas was also named the NEC Defensive Player of the Week for his contributions on Saturday. Le Moyne (3-9, 2-2 NEC) is back in action next Saturday at Wagner College at 2:00 p.m. The teams are currently tied for the fourth and final seed in the NEC standings.
