Anthony Maglisco (Syracuse, N.Y./Westhill) is tied for 10th place to lead the Le Moyne College men's golf team to 10th place after the first day of The Carpetbagger Classic hosted by Binghamton University and Colgate University at the par-72, 7034-yard Worthington Manor Golf Club.
Mount St. Mary's University, the defending co-champion, has a four-shot lead after 18 holes after posting a five-over par 293. Wagner College is in second place with a 297 and Merrimack is third with a 298. Le Moyne registered a 307 to land in 10th place in the 16-team field. Aaron Sorkin from Mount St. Mary's leads the individual leaderboard with a two-under par 70.
Maglisco is in a three-way tie for 10th place with a one-over par 73, which featured three birdies over his first eight holes. Sophomore
Owen Corby (Pittsford, N.Y./Pittsford Sutherland) is in a 13-way tie for 15th place after posting a 75, which included five birdies. Freshman
George Green (Hilton, N.Y./Hilton) recorded a 78, including three birdies, to land in a nine-way tie for 46th place. Freshman
Mac Quinn (Glenwood, N.Y./Canisius HS) tallied an 81, including two birdies, to land in a four-way tie for 72nd place. Freshman
Jacob Moody (Oakland, Maine/Messalonskee) in an a four-way tie for 80th place with an 83.
The second round begins on Sunday with a shotgun start at 10:00 a.m.
