Perry, N.Y. – Le Moyne College graduate student short-stick defensive midfielder Dom DelPonte (Upper Saddle, N.J./St. Joseph Regional) and senior defenseman Maui Wilhelm (Saint Johns, Fla./Creekside) have been selected to the USILA Division I/II Senior All-Star Game, as announced by the association on Thursday afternoon.

The game, which features student-athletes from Divisions I and II broken up into North and South teams, will be held on Friday at approximately 6:30 p.m. at Roger Williams University in Providence, R.I. in conjunction with the Division I, II and III National Championships in Foxborough, Massachusetts. The Division III game will be held beforehand at 4:00 p.m. DelPonte and Wilhelm are the only two student-athletes on the 27-member North roster from the Northeast Conference, while the 27-member South roster features four NEC student-athletes (two each from Detroit Mercy and VMI).

DelPonte was selected after recording 12 ground balls and 10 caused turnovers as a starter in all 15 games. He had at least one ground ball in 10 games, including a pair with two, and eight games with a caused turnover, including a career-best three in the 8-7 victory over Robert Morris in the regular season finale to clinch the Dolphins the top seed in the NEC Championship.

DelPonte, who was an NE10 All-Conference Third Team selection as a redshirt sophomore in 2023, finished his career as a Dolphin with 42 ground balls and 25 caused turnovers over 47 games played, which included starts in each of the last 44 games. His 25 caused turnovers are tied for the fifth-most by a short-stick defensive midfielder in the program's career rankings.

Wilhelm was selected after earning Northeast Conference All-Conference First Team honors in his final season on the Heights. A starter in all 15 games at close defense, he had 22 ground balls and 10 caused turnovers. He had six games with multiple ground balls, including each of the last four games, and four games with multiple caused turnovers.

He finished his career as a Dolphin with 67 ground balls and 30 caused turnovers as a starter in 37 of 52 games played, which included starts in each of the last 27 games. His 30 caused turnovers are tied for the 18th-most by a Dolphin in the program's career rankings.

The Dolphins finished their second year at the Division I level and first in the NEC with a 9-6 overall record and a 6-1 mark in league play, which earned the program a share of the regular season conference championship and the top seed in the league tournament.
