Syracuse, N.Y. – Le Moyne College men's soccer head coach
Callum Donnelly '17, M '21 has announced the team's 2025 schedule ahead of the program's third season as a member of the NEC.
The 16-game slate will feature seven non-conference contests, and seven total home games.
Le Moyne was one of four teams to qualify for the NEC Tournament a season ago, finishing the 2024 regular season with a 4-3-1 conference record.
The Dolphins will open the 2025 campaign with away contests at Delaware (Aug. 21) and Lafayette (Aug. 27). The season opener at Delaware will mark the third meeting between the Dolphins and the Blue Hens since Le Moyne's transition to Division I, with both of the previous two matches resulting in 2-2 draws.
Le Moyne will play its home opener on Saturday, August 30 against Cornell, which advanced to the second round of the 2024 NCAA Tournament.
The Dolphins will then host St. Bonaventure (Sep. 3) and Binghamton (Sep. 7) at Ted Grant Field to complete a three-game homestand.
Le Moyne and St. Bonaventure played to a 1-1 draw during the 2024 campaign, while the Dolphins suffered a 1-0 loss at Binghamton last season.
Le Moyne will close out its non-conference slate with road matches at Lindenwood (Sep. 14) and Niagara (Sep. 19).
Le Moyne and Lindenwood, which announced its transition from Division II to Division I ahead of the 2022-23 academic year, met for the first time during the 2023 season in Syracuse, while the Dolphins hosted Niagara last season and registered a 1-1 draw against the Purple Eagles.
The Dolphins will begin NEC play at home against Saint Francis on September 28 before heading to the nation's capital for a matchup with Howard on October 2.
The conference slate continues with a match at LIU on October 9. The Sharks claimed their second consecutive NEC Tournament Championship in 2024 after defeating top-seeded FDU via penalty kicks in the title game.
Le Moyne will host the defending NEC Regular Season champion Mercyhurst at Ted Grant Field on October 16 before traveling to take on new NEC member New Haven on October 23. Le Moyne holds a 15-4 all-time record against New Haven. The Dolphins claimed 12 consecutive victories against the Chargers between 2008 and 2019, but New Haven won each of the last two meetings between the two programs, including a 3-2 win in Syracuse during the 2022 campaign.
The Stonehill Skyhawks will visit Ted Grant Field on October 26, then Le Moyne will play its final two road matches of the regular season at FDU (Oct. 30) and Central Connecticut State (Nov. 6).
Le Moyne will close out the regular season with a home match against Chicago State on November 9.
