Syracuse, N.Y. – The Le Moyne College women's basketball program and head coach
Nick DiPillo have announced the team's full 2025-26 schedule.
The Dolphins' 31-game slate will feature 13 non-conference games, 18 NEC matchups, and 12 home games.
NEC Women's Basketball has expanded to 10 teams this season following the addition of University of New Haven.
The Dolphins earned the No. 5 seed in the NEC Tournament last season and advanced to the semifinals for the second consecutive year with a 62-51 win at fourth-seeded Saint Francis.
The 2026 NEC Tournament field will once again feature eight teams.
Le Moyne will begin the 2025-26 season with a four-game road swing at St. Johns' University (Nov 3), Lafayette College (Nov 9), Baylor University (Nov 16) and University of Pittsburgh (Nov 18).
The Red Storm will be Le Moyne's second-ever BIG EAST opponent, as the Dolphins traveled to Seton Hall last season. The Dolphins will take on Pittsburgh for the second time in three seasons. The Panthers recorded a 56-39 win over the Dolphins in 2023-24.
When Le Moyne ventures to Waco to take on the Baylor Bears, it will be the program's first time taking on an opponent from the Big 12 Conference. Baylor compiled a 15-3 conference record in 2024-25, and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
The Dolphins will play their home opener on November 22 against Cornell University, which will mark the second time that Le Moyne has hosted an Ivy League squad at Ted Grant Court.
Le Moyne will travel to Lewisburg, Pennsylvania to take on Bucknell University on November 25, then they will make a return trip to Big Ten foe University of Illinois on November 30.
The Fighting Illini put together an 11-7 record in Big Ten action last season and earned a berth to the NCAA Tournament where they defeated Creighton in the first round before falling to top-seeded Texas.
In-state opponent St. Bonaventure University will visit Ted Grant Court on December 6, then the 'Phins will embark on a two-game, three-day road swing with a December 14 meeting at Marquette University, followed by a December 16 matchup at Bowling Green.
The Bonnies hold a 9-3 all-time record against the Dolphins in games played between 1980-88.
The Dolphins will participate in the Hawk Classic Presented by Jersey Mike's on December 20-21 at Saint Joseph's University. Le Moyne will play the Hawks on Saturday, and either Akron or Delaware on Sunday, depending on Saturday's results.
Saint Joseph's reached the Atlantic 10 Championship game in 2024-25 with the help of current Le Moyne assistant coach Emma Boslet, who started 29 games for the Hawks last season and was one of two players on the team to surpass 100 assists on the year.
Le Moyne will close out its non-conference slate at home on December 30 against SUNY Geneseo. The Knights compiled a 14-2 record in Empire 8 action last season and advanced to the Division III NCAA Tournament Sweet 16.
The Dolphins will begin NEC play with back-to-back home games against Saint Francis University (Jan 2) and Mercyhurst University (Jan 4).
Mercyhurst will be eligible to play in the NEC Tournament for the first time this season, while New Haven will be ineligible for the conference tournament during its first year of the reclassification process. Therefore, nine NEC squads will vie for the eight spots in the NEC Tournament.
Le Moyne will travel to new NEC member University of New Haven on January 8. The Dolphins hold a 23-16 all-time record against the Chargers dating back to their time as conference foes in the NE10.
Le Moyne has won each of the last five meetings with New Haven between 2020-23. New Haven compiled a 17-11 record and earned a berth to the NCAA Tournament during the program's final season at the Division II level in 2024-25.
The 'Phins will continue a three-game road swing with conference contests at Central Connecticut State (Jan 10) and LIU (Jan 15).
Le Moyne split their matchups with both CCSU and LIU last season. After dropping their conference opener against the Sharks in Brooklyn last season, Le Moyne claimed an 83-53 win over LIU during the rematch in Syracuse 51 days later, which marked the Dolphins' largest margin of victory on the year.
Following the January 15 matchup in Brooklyn, Le Moyne will head back to Syracuse to host Chicago State University on the 17
th.
The Dolphins will visit Wagner College on January 22 before hosting the defending NEC Champion FDU on January 24.
Le Moyne will have its first rematch of the season on January 29 when they host LIU at Ted Grant Court, then they will travel to Stonehill College for a meeting with the Skyhawks on January 31.
The February slate begins with a home game against Wagner on the 5
th, followed by a road tilt at Saint Francis on the 7
th.
The 'Phins will play at Chicago State on February 14, before playing back-to-back home games against Central Connecticut State (Feb 19) and Stonehill (Feb 21).
They will travel to Teaneck to take on FDU on February 26, then the Dolphins will play their final home game of the regular season on February 28 against New Haven.
Le Moyne will close out the regular season at Mercyhurst on March 5.
The 2026 NEC Women's Basketball Championship will take place on March 9, 12 & 15 at campus sites.
