Syracuse, N.Y. – The Binghamton University Bearcats scored three goals over a span of three minutes and seven seconds in the second half to claim a 3-2 win over the Le Moyne College men's soccer team in non-conference action Sunday afternoon at Ted Grant Field.
The Dolphins took a 1-0 lead less than five minutes into the match as redshirt-sophomore forward
Felix Ludemann (Wrestedt, Germany/Herzog-Ernst-Gymnasium Uelzen) found the back of the net for the first time this season off an assist from redshirt-sophomore midfielder
Diego Martinez (Veracruz, Mexico/Gulf Coast (Fla.). Le Moyne held its lead until the 65
th minute when Binghamton's Kevaughn Harris finished off a pass from D.T. Megliola.
The Bearcats earned a penalty kick in the 67
th minute, which was converted by Anthony Randazzo, then Randazzo put away his second tally of the game in the 68
th minute to give the visitors three unanswered goals in quick succession.
Le Moyne made it 3-2 in the 83
rd minute as junior defender
Karl Lundstrom Svahnqvist (Lexington, Mass./South Kent/Bellarmine) registered his first career goal off a set piece delivery from graduate midfielder
Antonino Pagano (Manlius, N.Y./Fayetteville-Manlius/Syracuse/Coastal Carolina), who collected his first collegiate point on the play.
Le Moyne outshot Binghamton during the 90 minutes by a tally of 11-10, while the Bearcats held the advantage in shots on goal, 7-4.
Ludemann, sophomore midfielder Guiliano Michitti (Binghamton, N.Y./Binghamton) and graduate forward
Francesco Pagano (Manlius, N.Y./Fayetteville-Manlius/Syracuse/Coastal Carolina) each recorded a team-high two shots for the Dolphins.
Binghamton recorded a season high in goals during the match, while Le Moyne tallied two goals for the second consecutive home game.
With 40:30 left in the first half, Martinez received a pass in the middle of the field, and picked out a pass for Ludemann, who made a perfectly-timed run behind the Binghamton defense. Ludemann ran onto the ball in the left side of the Binghamton penalty area, and with his first touch poked a left-footed shot past the goalkeeper and into the right side of the net. Martinez registered his first career point on the play.
Binghamton graduate midfielder Simon Knuewe drove a left-footed shot towards the bottom right corner of the Le Moyne goal in the 11
th minute, but junior goalkeeper
Wyatt Dupell (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) made the diving stop for the Dolphins.

Rhys Allport (Wirral, England/Reaseheath) received a pass in the right side of the box with 30:15 remaining in the first half, and placed a right-footed shot on target that was saved by Binghamton graduate goalkeeper Daniel Shannon.
With just under 20 minutes remaining in the first half,
Francesco Pagano received a pass in the left side of Le Moyne's attacking third, carried the ball to his right around a trio of Binghamton defenders, and smashed a right-footed shot on the ground from just outside the 18-yard box that was scooped up by Shannon.
The Bearcats sprung a quick attack in the 65
th minute as senior midfielder Calvin Moe delivered a pass behind the Le Moyne defense for Megliola, who carried the ball into the right side of the penalty area, drew Dupell of his line and slid a pass across the box for Harris who redirected the ball into the back of the net with his first touch.
Just over two minutes later, Binghamton junior midfielder Alex Balkey was taken down in the Le Moyne penalty area, leading to Randazzo's PK goal.
Randazzo completed his brace less than one minute later as he received an aerial pass from Balkey, took a touch into the left side of the penalty area and placed a left-footed shot off the right goal post and into the center of the net.
Antonino Pagano and Lundstrom Svahnqvist both subbed into the game with 7:46 remaining in the second half, and in their first moments on the pitch Pagano delivered a free kick towards the six-yard box, where Lundstrom Svahnqvist headed the ball into the left side of the net to reduce Le Moyne's deficit to one goal.
Binghamton prevented Le Moyne from recording a shot in the final seven minutes of the match to close out the 3-2 road victory.
