Jameson Keppeler Hiring as Tennis Coach Announcement

JAMESON KEPPELER M ’23 NAMED LE MOYNE HEAD MEN’S AND WOMEN’S TENNIS COACH

Syracuse, N.Y. – Le Moyne College Assistant Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics and Campus Recreation Phil Brown has announced the hiring of Jameson Keppeler MBA '23 as the head coach for the men's and women's tennis programs.
 
A native of Fayetteville and a graduate of Christian Brothers Academy, Keppeler comes to Le Moyne after seven months as an assistant coach at Newberry College. .
 
"Jameson's deep ties to our community and his experience as a Le Moyne graduate student make this a particularly meaningful hire," said Brown. "He understands who we are, what we value and the impact this institution can have on our student-athletes."

"I'm incredibly excited and grateful for the opportunity to lead the men's and women's tennis programs," said Keppeler. "As a Syracuse native and a Le Moyne MBA graduate, it truly feels special to come back home and represent a place that has already meant so much to my personal and professional growth. Being able to return to Le Moyne in this capacity is something I'm extremely proud of and I'm thankful for the trust and support from the athletic department. I also want to specifically thank Liza Frank, who has been the person I've worked most closely with from the start. She has been extremely helpful throughout the entire process, always willing to take my calls, respond to texts and answer any questions I had."

"I can't wait to work with our student-athletes, help them grow both on and off the court, and build a competitive and connected program that reflects the values of this institution."
 
Prior to his time with the Wolves, he served as an assistant coach at Oswego State for the Spring 2025 season, during which the men's team won the Empire 8 Championship and earned a berth in the NCAA Tournament and he was part of the Empire 8 Coaching Staff of the Year.
 
He competed collegiately at Nazareth University (2016-17) and Assumption University (2017-21) and played primarily at fourth and fifth singles and second and third doubles.
 
Keppeler earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management in 2020 from Assumption University.
