Bridgewater, N.J. – Junior Isabella O'Donnell (Latham, N.Y./Shaker) has been named the NEC Cross Country Women's Athlete of the Week, as announced by the conference on Wednesday.
 
O'Donnell and the Dolphins recently competed at the Canisius Alumni Classic held at Delaware Park. Hosted by Canisius University, 25 total teams consisting of 261 athletes competed throughout the day in Buffalo, N.Y.
 
Isabella recorded the best finish of the day for Le Moyne, placing 6^th overall in the women's 5k run after clocking in with a time of 18:10.3. The women's race consisted of 12 total teams and 122 participants. Isabella's 5k time set a new personal best, beating out her previous record of 18:56.3 that was set earlier this year at the Colgate Harry Lang Invitational.

Junior Carson Campbell (Lee Center, N.Y./Rome Free Academy) and O'Donnell were also named NEC Prime Performers. Campbell competed in the men's 8k event, setting a personal best after running a time of 25:12.3
 
O'Donnell and the Dolphins are set to compete at the 2026 NEC Cross Country Championship hosted by LIU on October 31^st.
