Syracuse, N.Y. – The Le Moyne College men's and women's cross country teams open up their 2026 season this Saturday at Colgate University. Both programs will be competing in the Harry Lang Invitational in Hamilton, N.Y.
The women's race is scheduled to begin at 11:00 A.M., followed by the men's race at 11:45 A.M.
The Dolphin women return 22 student-athletes to their roster, including junior
Jasmin Gonzalez-Rivera (Utica, N.Y./Thomas R. Proctor), junior
Isabella O'Donnell (Latham, N.Y./Shaker), senior
Mackenzie Ples (Lowville, N.Y./Lowville), and sophomore
Hailey Parker (Old Forge, N.Y./Town of Webb). They also have 10 newcomers joining the squad.
At the 2025 NEC Cross Country Championships, Gonzalez-Rivera earned the highest finish for the 'Phins, placing 14
th overall with a time of 23:44.40. O'Donnell placed 26
th overall, running a time of 24:42.70 as the highest finishers on the day.
The men's program returns nine student-athletes, including senior
Tyler Cooper (Sloatsburg, N.Y./Suffern), junior
Liam Rocks (Jersey City, N.J./St. Peter's Prep), junior
Carson Campbell (Lee Center, N.Y./Rome Free Academy), senior
Mike Purvis (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool) and junior
Brendan O'Rourke (New Milford, N.J./Bergen Catholic). The Dolphins are also adding five newcomers to their program.
At the 2025 NEC Cross Country Championships, Cooper placed 7
th overall with a time of 26:10.20, as Rocks finished 19
th with a time of 26:49.50 as the top two finishers for the 'Phins.
