Hamilton, N.Y. – The Le Moyne College men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Harry Lang Invitational hosted by Colgate University. Syracuse and Colgate were the other two programs competing in Saturday's event.
"We went in with a race strategy of bring patient through the hilly first half, and push through the second half," said head coach
Tanner Beebe.

Isabella O'Donnell (Latham, N.Y./Shaker) earned the highest finish of the day for the 'Phins, running a time of 18:56.3 and placing 8
th overall. Senior
Mackenzie Ples (Lowville, N.Y./Lowville) placed 17
th overall after running a time of 20:40.4. In her first collegiate event, freshman
Amelia Lyden (Clifton Park, N.Y./Shenendehowa) placed 25
th overall with a time of 22:06.9 to round out the top-25 finishers on the day.
Junior
Carson Campbell (Lee Center, N.Y./Rome Free Academy) recorded the highest finish of the day on the men's side, placing 10
th overall with a time of 20:03.4. In his first event with the Dolphins, junior
Paul Clark (Baldwinsville, N.Y./C.W. Baker/Onondaga C.C.) placed 18
th overall, clocking in with a time of 20:29.5 to round out the top-25 finishers on the men's side.
"They executed their plans really well," said Beebe. "There is more to build, but it was a good start to the season!"
