Syracuse, N.Y. – A game-winning goal scored in overtime by graduate student attacker Francesca Tortora (Syracuse, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse/Stony Brook) against Wagner has been named the Le Moyne Play of the Week, presented by 'Phins Hospitality.
 
 
 
With under four minutes remaining in overtime, the Dolphins controlled possession of the ball, working it around looking for an opening. Tortora received a pass on the top of the key from junior midfielder Maddi Barney (Lorraine, N.Y./South Jefferson), before firing a pass towards the direction of redshirt junior Olivia Lockwood (Syracuse, N.Y./West Genesee/Onondaga C.C.).
 
As the ball was in flight, the keeper for the Seahawks was blindsided, as the ball crept passed her stick and into the back of the net, securing the victory for the 'Phins.
 
Tortora finished the day with two goals and two assists as the Dolphins went on to win the game 9-8.
