Syracuse, N.Y. – A game-winning RBI in the 14^th inning from junior first baseman Cooper Romich (North Chili, N.Y./Churchville-Chili) against LIU has been named the Le Moyne Play of the Week, presented by McNeil & Co.
 
 

In the top of the 14^th, Romich stepped up to the plate with two outs. Cooper swung on the first pitch for a strike, looking to get something out of the inning. The next pitch, Romich drilled a line-drive over the outstretched glove of the shortstop, as head coach Scott Cassidy sent junior right fielder Jack Cannon (Webster, N.Y./Webster Schroeder) home to score the go-ahead run.
 
Two walks and a hit-by-pitch loaded the bases for the Sharks with one out in the bottom of the 14th inning, but redshirt sophomore Eric Swiencicki (Lancaster, N.Y./St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute) struck out the next two batters to secure the 5-4 victory for Le Moyne.
