EIGHT FROM MEN'S AND WOMEN'S SWIM & DIVE TEAMS EARN CSC ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT® HONORS

Syracuse, N.Y. – Eight members of the Le Moyne College men's and women's swimming and diving teams were named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Teams, as recently announced by the organization.

Juniors Kayleigh Bigwarfe (Glenmont, N.Y. / Bethlehem) and Madeleine O'Dea (Milton, Ontario / Milton District) as well as sophomore divers Alyssa Kearns (Latham, N.Y. / Shaker) and Gabby Williams (Scotia, N.Y. / Scotia-Glenville) earned the recognition from the women's team, while junior Michael Han (Auckland, New Zealand / Pukaranaga College) and sophomores Lucas Clay (Baldwinsville, N.Y. / C.W. Baker), Jack Milligan (East Islip, N.Y. / East Islip), and Michael White Jr. (Baldwinsville, N.Y. / C.W. Baker) of the men's team were honored.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. To earn CSC Academic All-District® honors, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically, hold at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA, and must compete in 75% of competitions or finish top-eight at a conference meet or participate in a national championship. 
 
12 NEC women's swimming and diving student-athletes from three programs were named to the CSC Academic All-District® Team in total, with Le Moyne's four matching the amount from both Saint Francis University and Stonehill College. On the men's side, Le Moyne's four honorees were the lone members of the conference to receive recognition. 

Bigwarfe led the women's team in points during their seventh place finish at the NEC Championships in late February, earning 110 total points through six events. Bigwarfe placed seventh while anchoring four different relays (200 and 400-yard medley relays and 200 and 400-yard freestyle relays) and earned a 15th place finish in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 53.50.

O'Dea finished with 86 total points at the NEC Championships, earning a pair of podium finishes in the 200-yard breaststroke (2nd) and 100-yard breaststroke (3rd) events. She also placed 7th as part of both the 200-yard and 400-yard medley relay teams while coming in 12th in the 200-yard IM with a final time of 2:10.74.

Kearns added 23 points to the women's team's total at the championship meet, placing seventh in the three-meter dive with a score of 171.00 and eighth in the one-meter diving event with a 169.85 final score.

Williams contributed 31 points for the 'Phins at this year's NEC Championships, earning a podium finish in third place in the one-meter dive with a score of 245.35 and scoring 228.35 in the three-meter dive event, coming in fourth place. 

Han added 47.5 points in the men's team's third place finish at the NEC Championship meet, placing fourth in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a personal time of 20.66, 10th in the 100-yard butterfly with a final time of 51.35, 11th in the 100-yard freestyle (46.65), and 12th in the 50-yard freestyle event, coming in at the 21.13 mark.

Clay earned 180 total points to lead the Dolphins in points, earning four podium finishes including a first place spot in the 100-yard breaststroke with a final time of 53.58 and a trio of second-place finishes in the 200-yard breaststroke and as part of the 200-yard medley relay and 800-yard freestyle relay teams. Clay also placed fourth in three more events at the NEC Championships, while setting numerous school records throughout the year including a 24.78 mark in the 50-yard breaststroke at the 2026 CSCAA National Invitational Championships last month. He was also selected to compete in the 50 and 100-yard breaststroke events at the USA Swimming Toyota U.S. Open Championships in early December.

Milligan brought in 63 points for Le Moyne at the championship meet in February, coming in second place as part of the 800-yard freestyle relay with a personal time of 1:42.42. He also placed seventh in both the 100 and 200-yard butterfly events and 12th in the 200-yard freestyle. 

White Jr. finished second on the team in points at the meet with 157, also coming in second place in the 800-yard freestyle relay with a personal finish of 1:39.69. He placed fourth in three different events, sixth in two others, and 11th in the 200-yard IM.
