Syracuse, N.Y. – A goal scored by junior forward Rhys Allport (Wirral, England/Reaseheath) against Canisius has been named the Le Moyne Play of the Week, presented by 'Phins Hospitality.
 
 
 
The Dolphins won back possession in the midfield as graduate student forward Oli Karbownik (Zabrza, Poland/Delbarton School (N.J.)/Seton Hall/Rider) carried the ball down the left wing. He played a ball into the box, as the ball bounced between the Canisius defenders before being picked up by junior forward Noah Morelli (North Tonawanda, N.Y./Niagara-Wheatfield).
 
Morelli quickly passed to Allport, who took a touch before curling it around the goalkeeper for Canisius into the top corner. The goal was the Dolphins first of the 2026 campaign, and ended up being the decisive goal as Le Moyne went on to with the game 1-0.
 
The Dolphins are back in action against Colgate Thursday at 7:30 P.M.
