Syracuse, N.Y. – Le Moyne College Wright, III '85 and Cathy Lassiter Endowed Head Men's Basketball Coach Nate Champion '14 has revealed his team's 16-game non-conference schedule for the 2026-27 season, the department announced on Monday afternoon. The Dolphins have five home, two neutral and nine road games in the months of November and December.
 
The Dolphins will open the season with a previously announced matchup at the University of Nebraska on Monday, November 2. The team remains in the Cornhusker State to take on fellow Jesuit institution, Creighton University, on Thursday the 5th. The Dolphins are facing both opponents for the first time, while Nebraska is Le Moyne's second Big 10 opponent since transitioning to Division I in 2023 and Creighton is the fifth Big East foe.

The 'Phins play their next two games at home. Their home opener is on Monday, November 9 against Elmira College and then they host Manhattan University on Saturday the 14th. The Dolphins are hosting the Jaspers in Syracuse for the seventh time and for the first time since February 2, 1957, but for the first time on campus.
 
The Dolphins hit the road for their next two games. They visit the University of Evansville for the first matchup in the program's history on Tuesday the 17th. The meeting with the Aces is Le Moyne's first against a member of the Missouri Valley Conference. They stay on the road and head to Columbia, Missouri to take on the University of Missouri for the first time on Friday the 20th. The Dolphins are taking on an SEC foe for the second straight year (Texas).

The Dolphins close out their November home slate on Monday the 23rd against former Division II rival, Mansfield University. The Dolphins hold a 17-10 advantage over the Mountaineers in the series history, which dates back to the 1977-78 campaign, including an 11-4 mark at home.
 
The Phins close out the month at The Lafayette Classic in Easton, Pennsylvania for the second straight year. They begin the event against the University of Maine on Friday the 27th. The Dolphins defeated the Black Bears, 85-74, in the only previous matchup between the programs on December 28, 1966 as part of the Le Moyne Christmas Invitational. The following day, the Dolphins face Niagara University for the third consecutive year, in a third different location. The Purple Eagles, who are led by former CBA standout Greg Paulus, hold an 8-1 lead in the all-time series, but Le Moyne's win came in last year's matchup at Ted Grant Court. They close out the event on Sunday the 29th against the host Leopards. The Dolphins and Lafayette have met on the hardwood twice, as part of invitationals hosted by each other. Lafayette won 89-75 on December 30, 1970 as part of the Le Moyne Invitational, while Le Moyne won last year, 76-63, in Easton.

Le Moyne bookends four December road contests with matchups against in-state foes. The Phins begin the month hosting Binghamton University for the fourth installment of the "Battle for the Interstate" rivalry series on Thursday, December 3. The Bearcats won the first two matchups in the series before Le Moyne won in Vestal last year, 78-63.
 
The team takes on their fourth ACC opponent since transitioning to the Division I level by facing Clemson University on Sunday the 6th.

The follow Sunday, the Dolphins visit fellow Jesuit institution, Fairfield University. The Dolphins are 4-2 all-time against the Stags, with both setbacks coming since the Dolphins transitioned to Division I (2023 and 2025).
 
The Dolphins visit St. Peter's University on Friday the 18th for the 26th matchup in the series history and the first since February 9, 1972. The Peacocks hold a 15-10 advantage in the series, including 10-4 in Jersey City.

The 'Phins close out their road non-conference slate at the University of Notre Dame on Monday the 21st. The Dolphins are taking on the Fighting Irish for the second time in three years after a setback in South Bend on December 22, 2024.

The Dolphins finish off non-conference play by hosting SUNY Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) on Tuesday the 29th.

The team's NEC schedule was previously released by the conference on July 30.
