Syracuse, N.Y. – The Le Moyne College men's soccer team defeated Lafayette College 3-0 Tuesday afternoon. Redshirt junior
Felix Ludemann (Wrestedt, Germany/Herzog-Ernst-Gymnasium-Uelzen), who was recently named an NEC Prime Performer, scored his third goal of the season, adding an assist to his tally on the day.
"Midweek games are always tricky, and I'm pleased to have started the game in a positive fashion," said head coach
Callum Donnelly '17, M '21. "We made our opportunities count early in the match, and I was happy to have finished the game with a clean sheet."

Lafayette quickly registered the first shot of the game in the opening minute, but Le Moyne generated the early breakthrough when Ludemann converted a penalty kick at 10:48 mark, after a foul on the right side of the box.
Junior forward
Rhys Allport (Wirral, England/Reaseheath) made it 2-0 in the 17
th minute off an assist from Ludemann, scoring from the top of the penalty box into the lower right corner.
Senior forward
Myles Palmer (Fairport, N.Y./Fairport/Roberts Wesleyan) added another in the 23
rd minute, finishing from the top of the goal box into the right side with assists from graduate student forward
Oli Karbownik (Zabrze, Poland/Delbarton School (N.J.)/Seton Hall/Rider) and sophomore midfielder

Lafayette pushed for a response with a Riley Martin shot saved by senior goalkeeper
Wyatt Dupell (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) at the 28:37 mark, and a Nicolas Juliano attempt wide at 32:09, but the half closed with Le Moyne still ahead 3-0.

Aiden Granger (Binghamton, N.Y./Chenango Valley) hit his rebound attempt over the net.
Dupell made his second save of the game on Joseph Lee's shot at 68:51, as Lafayette continued to look for their opener. Dupell recorded his third and final save of the game on Cole Duschang's shot at 88:29, and the second half ended scoreless as Le Moyne finished a 3-0 win.
"It's always good to see a few of our forwards on the scoresheet," said Donnelly following Le Moyne's fourth win of the season.
'Phins Highlights:
Le Moyne is off to its best start through seven games since the 2021 season. Ludemann scored his third goal of the season, added an assist and finished with three points on his lone shot. Dupell recorded his fourth shutout of the season, making three saves over 90 minutes. Palmer scored his second goal of the season on one of his two shots, putting one attempt on goal. Allport also scored his second goal of the season, and finished with two shots, including one on frame.
