Syracuse, N.Y. – The Le Moyne College men's soccer team lost 2-0 to Syracuse University Saturday evening. Senior goalkeeper
Wyatt Dupell (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) made 10 saves, while the Dolphins put six of their eight shots on goal.

Syracuse answered with pressure around the 10-minute mark, forcing Dupell into saves on shots by Chimere Omeze and Kristjan Fortier before junior forward
Rhys Allport (Wirral, England/Reaseheath) had another Le Moyne attempt saved in the 21
st minute. The Orange had the heavier late push, generating a run of shots and corner kicks after 31:37, but Dupell made multiple saves during the stretch, including a massive stop on Bryson Rodriguez's penalty kick at 42:02. Syracuse added a late attempt in the final seconds, and the half ended scoreless.
The Dolphins were put under pressure immediately after halftime, with Dupell saving Landon Darko's shot at 45:21 before Syracuse earned two corners and Gabriel Oksanen scored at 47:00 for a 1-0 lead. Syracuse kept generating chances through the middle of the half, forcing Dupell saves on Dakota Jonke at 52:58 and Bryson Rodriguez at 57:55 and 58:33.

Dupell recorded 10 saves over 90 minutes, making six in the first half and four in the second half. Allport led the Dolphins' attack with three shots, putting all three on goal.
