Box Score Teaneck, N.J. – The Le Moyne women's soccer team was defeated 5-0 by the FDU Knights on Thursday evening. Redshirt sophomore goalkeeper Simone Schwarz-Eise (Scottsdale, Ariz./Averill Park) made a season-high five saves in the contest.

FDU registered four shots in the opening nine minutes of the contest, with Cali-Dean Craft netting the first goal for the Knights at 8:52. Junior Dolphins' goalie Mikayla McPheron (Rome, N.Y./Rome Free Academy) made three saves to hold the scoreline at 1-0 until the 39th minute, when Nadia Wojcik scored FDU's second of the game. Marina Burzaco added a 3rd for the Knights just two minutes later. 

It took six minutes for FDU to find the back of the net in the second half through Kelsey Spears. Burzaco scored her 2nd, the Knights' fifth, at 57:40. The Dolphins' Schwarz-Eise made her first save at 59:21 after subbing in for McPheron at the end of the opening half. Le Moyne junior forward Alivia Day (Rochester, N.Y./Rush-Henrietta) recorded the first shot for the Dolphins at 67:45, forcing a save from FDU's goalkeeper. Le Moyne's offense registered three shots in three minutes towards the end of the contest, and Schwarz-Elise stopped four FDU attempts to close out the game 5-0 in favor of the Knights. 

'Phin Highlights: 

McPheron made three saves in 45 minutes, and Schwarz-Eise made a season-high five. Day had one shot and the only Le Moyne shot on goal. As substitutes in the midfield, junior Ajla Ikeljic (Utica, N.Y./Frankfurt-Schuyler), freshman Lucia Devito (Gansevoort, N.Y./Saratoga Springs) and freshman Hawley Lynott (Clarks Summit, Pa./Abington Heights) each recorded a shot in the contest.
