Syracuse, N.Y. – Junior goalkeeper Mikayla McPheron (Rome, N.Y./Rome Free Academy) of the women's soccer team has been named the Le Moyne Athlete of the Week, presented by McNeil & Co.
 
McPheron, who was also named the NEC Defensive Player of the Week and an NEC Prime Performer, had an impressive showing in Le Moyne's 1-1 week against St. Bonaventure and Saint Peter's.
 
The Dolphins opened the week with a 2-0 loss against the Bonnies, as Mikayla made eight saves on 17 shots faces, marking a .800 save percentage.
 
McPheron was crucial in Le Moyne's first win of the season over Saint Peter's, making six saves on 14 shots for a .857 save percentage.
 
She has made 40 saves through six games, maintaining a .755 save percentage.
