The Dolphins picked up their lone point at the third doubles spot as seniors
Dominique Canale (Oswego, N.Y./Oswego/Arcadia) and
Margaret LaFleur (Darien Center, N.Y./Attica) posted an 8-3 victory over Joanna Haich and Bianca Bernal. At first doubles, Charlotte Moreau and Katarina Barborikova recorded an 8-6 win over freshmen
Rithika Vajjiravelu (Chennai, Tamil Nadu/Kendriya Vidyalaya) and
Amica Benoit-Limosani (Mont-Saint-Hilaire, Quebec/Collège Saint-Maurice), while Stefani Lineva and Rebecca Fakas registered an 8-1 win over sophomore
Christina Perry (Endwell, N.Y./Seton Catholic) and junior
Jessica Geary (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) at second doubles.
In singles play, Lineva was a 6-3, 6-2 winner over Vajjiravelu at the top spot. Barborikova tallied a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Canale at the third spot, while Haich rallied for a 4-6, 6-1, 6-0 win over Geary at third singles in the final match that was completed. Moreau led Benoit-Limosani, 6-4, 3-2 at second singles and Fakas was ahead of freshman
Autumn Hogan (Rochester, N.Y./Aquinas Institute) 6-1, 5-0 at fifth singles before their matches were stopped. LaFleur and Bernal never started their match at sixth singles.
Le Moyne (2-3, 1-2 NE-10) returns to action on Friday for a non-conference match against Philadelphia University at the Skytop Tennis Courts at 2:30 p.m.
