Hamilton, N.Y. – The Le Moyne College men's track team placed seventh and the women's team placed eighth on Saturday afternoon at Colgate University's Class of 1932 Invitational.
Freshman
Meg Hubregsen (Honeoye Falls, N.Y./Honeoye Falls-Lima) earned a team-best 16 points after placing third in a pair of events. In the 60-meter dash, she posted a season-best time of 8.62 seconds to earn six points, while registering a season-best leap of 15-feet, 10.25-inches in the long jump. She added four points by placing fifth in the 200-meter dash in 28.36 seconds.
Freshman
Bella Sterly (Syracuse, N.Y./Westhill) registered Le Moyne's best finish of the day by placing second in the shot put with a season-best distance of 36-feet, 11-inches to record eight points.
Senior
Laura Quercia (Marcellus, N.Y./Marcellus/SUNY Cortland) turned in a seventh-place finish in the 400-meter dash in a season-best 1:04.69 to record two points.
Freshman
Jeanette Cudney (Cazenovia, N.Y./Cazenovia) recorded a sixth-place finish in the one-mile run in a season-best 5:33.79 to earn three points. She picked up one point by placing eighth in the 1000-meter run in a season-best 3:16.70.
On the men's side, freshman
Matthew Civilette (Fredonia, N.Y./Fredonia) registered six points over the two horizontal jumping events. He placed fifth in the triple jump with a leap of 40-feet, 6.75-inches to earn four points, placing seventh in the long jump with a distance of 19-feet, 4-inches to earn two points.
A pair of freshman scored in the 500-meter dash for the Dolphins.
Elliot Hernandez (Boonville, N.Y./Adirondack) placed sixth in a season-best 1:11.83 to earn three points, while
Kevin O'Connor (Hopewell Junction, N.Y./John Jay) placed eighth in a season-best 1:12.80 for one point.
In the one-mile run, freshman
Sean Beney (Camillus, N.Y./West Genesee) registered a time of 4:33.06 to place fifth and earn four points, while junior
Joe Fallon (Syracuse, N.Y./Marcellus) was one spot back with a season-best time of 4:38.24. Fallon also picked up two points by placing seventh in the 1000-meter run in 2:45.58.

Colin Teeter (Central Square, N.Y./Central Square) and Beney tallied six points by placing third in the 3200-meter in 9:11.72.
The Dolphins return to action on Saturday at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston, Massachusetts.
