Pittsford, N.Y. – Freshman
Brody Witaszek (Ghent, N.Y./Chatham) recorded a fourth-place finish to lead the Le Moyne College track teams on Saturday afternoon at St. John Fisher College's Cardinal Classic at the Polisseni Track & Field Complex.
Witaszek earned four points for the Dolphins by placing fourth in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 10:18.43.
Freshman
Matthew Civilette (Fredonia, N.Y./Fredonia) recorded a pair of top-nine finishes in the horizontal jumping events. He placed sixth in the triple jump with a season-best distance of 42-feet, 9.75-inches to earn one point and finished ninth in the long jump with a mark of 20-feet, 7.25-inches.
Freshman
Sean Beney (Camillus, N.Y./West Genesee) placed ninth in the 5000-meter run with a season-best time of 15:50.88, over six seconds faster than his previous mark.
Junior
Adam Zinger (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool) recorded a time of 17:15.36 to place 18th in the 5000-meter run.
Senior
Aaron Fuller (Troy, N.Y./Lansingburgh) placed 21s in a season-best time of 53.33 seconds in the 400-meter dash. He finished 24th in the 200-meter dash with a season-best time of 24.24 seconds.
Freshman
Elliot Hernandez (Boonville, N.Y./Adirondack) recorded a season-best time of 54.72 seconds to place 27th in the 400-meter dash. He also finished 22nd in the long jump with a distance of 18-feet, 9.25-inches.
On the women's side, freshman
Bella Sterly (Syracuse, N.Y./Westhill) registered an eighth-place finish in the shot put with a distance of 34-feet, 5.5-inches. She then placed 14th in the discus throw with a heave of 85-feet, 5-inches.

Nora Hoodmaker (Amherst, N.Y./Holy Angels Academy) placed 10th in the shot put with a season-best toss of 34-feet, 5-inches.

Alexandra Sheehan (Moorestown, N.J./Holy Cross) recorded a 13th-place finish in the javelin throw with a mark of 61-feet, 3-inches.

Joscelyn Evener (Cayuga, N.Y./Union Springs) posted a mark of 25-feet, 1.75-inches to place 21st in the shot put. She also placed 21st in the discus throw with a distance of 57-feet, 10-inches.

Erin Fayle (Lowville, N.Y./Lowville) finished in 24th place in the 800-meter run in a season-best 2:32.94.
The Dolphins are back in action at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships on Friday and Saturday at Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, Connecticut.
