Cazenovia, N.Y. – The Le Moyne College men's and women's cross country teams each registered victories on Saturday at the Cazenovia College Homecoming Invitational at Fenner Fields.
The Dolphin women tallied the top five placements to claim first place with 15 points. Cazenovia was second with 49 points and Onondaga Community College was third with 85 points.
For the men, the Dolphin had five of the top 16 finishers to place first as a team with 43 points. Royal Military College placed second with 59 points and Mohawk Valley Community College was third with 74 points. Royal Military College's Logan Roots won the men's race in 26:54.

Jeanette Cudney (Cazenovia, N.Y./Cazenovia) placed first in her hometown by coving the five-kilometer course in 20:09. Sophomore
Brittney Mack (Poestenkill, N.Y./Averill Park) turned in a time of 20:49 to place second, while freshman
Siara Clos (Syracuse, N.Y./Onondaga) was five seconds behind in third place. Sophomore
Rachael Miller (Baldwinsville, N.Y./C.W. Baker) finished in fourth place with a time of 21:08, while freshman
Jordan Sloan (Central Square, N.Y./Bishop Grimes) rounded out the team's scorers with a time of 21:23 to place fifth.
Junior
Sean Beney (Camillus, N.Y./West Genesee) led the men's team by placing second after navigating the eight-kilometer course in 27:04. Sophomore
Griffin Klein (Fair Haven, N.Y./Red Creek) was the next finisher with a time of 28:39, while freshman
Dom Battaglia (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool) finished in 30:00 to place eighth. Freshman
Nicholas Skakal (Lancaster, N.Y./Canisius HS) registered a time of 30:52 to place 14th, while senior
Ryan Homeyer (Camillus, N.Y./West Genesee) was 10 seconds and two places behind.
The Dolphins complete the regular season portion of their schedule on Saturday at the Hamilton Invitational. The women's race starts at 12:00 p.m. and the men follow at 1:00 p.m.
