Canton, N.Y. – The Le Moyne College men's indoor track and field recorded four first-place finishes and set three program records en route to placing second at the Saints Indoor Invitational hosted by St. Lawrence University on Saturday afternoon. The women's team placed fourth after registering two first-place finishes and two program records.
Freshman
Chris Davitt (Delmar, N.Y./Bethlehem) earned the men's team's first victory of the day by crossing the tape first in the 1000-meter run in an NE10-qualifying and program-record time of 2:39.44.
Junior
Sean Beney (Camillus, N.Y./West Genesee) picked up the team's second win three events later by finishing the 3000-meter run in an NE10-qualifying time of 8:58.96.
Junior
Matthew Civilette (Fredonia, N.Y./Fredonia) finished in the top three in each of the horizontal jumping events. He won the triple jump with a leap of 41-feet, 11.5-inches after placing third in the long jump with a distance of 19-feet, 10.75-inches.
Freshman
Jacob Davis (Feura Bush, N.Y./Bethlehem) placed in the top five in the throwing events. He opened his day by finishing in second place in the shot put with a season-best mark of 39-feet, 10.5-inches. He then placed fifth in the weight throw with a season-best distance of 40-feet, 6-inches, an improvement of almost seven feet from last week.
Sophomore
Jordan Finch (Poughkeepsie, N.Y./Poughkeepsie) recorded a pair of top-seven finishes on the afternoon. In his first event of the day, he placed seventh in the 60-meter dash in 7.45 seconds. He later tied for second-place in the 200-meter dash in a season-best time of 23.61 seconds.
Sophomore
Griffin Klein (Fair Haven, N.Y./Red Creek) opened the meet by placing third in the 5000-meter run with a program record and NE10-qualifying time of 15:57.98. Senior
Ryan Homeyer (Camillus, N.Y./West Genesee) added a seventh-place finish in the event with a time of 17:41.46.

Kevin O'Connor (Hopewell Junction, N.Y./John Jay) recorded a pair of top-eight finishes on the afternoon, including a program-record performance. He opened his day by placing fourth in the 500-meter dash in 1:11.40. He then eclipsed the program record in the 300-meter dash with a time of 38.70 seconds to place eighth.

Cresnor Holt (Rochester, N.Y./Greece Arcadia) picked up two points in the 200-meter dash by crossing the tape in 24.13 seconds to place fifth.

Mahamadou Jagana (Bronx, N.Y./DeWitt Clinton) registered a sixth-place finish in the 400-meter dash in 54.54 seconds.

Siara Clos (Syracuse, N.Y./Onondaga) opened the meet by winning the 5000-meter run in an NE10-qualifying time of 19:49.77. Junior
Jeanette Cudney (Cazenovia, N.Y./Cazenovia) was the next finisher in the race with an NE10-qualifying time of 20:07.03, while freshman

Brittney Mack (Poestenkill, N.Y./Averill Park) registered eight points in the 1000-meter run by placing second with an NE10-qualifying time of 3:10.09. Junior

She earned four points in the 200-meter dash by placing fourth in 27.96 seconds and then recorded three with a fifth-place finish in the long jump with a leap of 15-feet, 5-inches.

Bethia Nivens (Latham, N.Y./Shaker) registered a pair of top-10 finishes on the afternoon, including a program-record performance. She finished in fifth place in the 300-meter dash with a program-record time of 44.92 seconds. She opened her day by recording an NE10-qualifying time of 8.34 seconds in the 60-meter dash to place 10th.
